I was wondering if April Intl would consider ablation "medically necessary" and cover it since some people only take rate control or antiarrhythmic medicines and not all doctors go to ablation as first-line treatment. Last cardiologist I saw in Bangkok said I should go direct to ablation. I am currently overseas, outside my April Intl zone of coverage, and if they would not cover it in Thailand, I may have procedure done overseas. How can I get good idea of whether they would cover -- or have covered it in the past -- before I return to Thailand in next few weeks? Ask the broker? Ask April (though I imagine they would say they would need to see the doctor's note and tests first, which of course I have not yet done for the procedure).

90 day notification status question
david_je replied to david_je's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Thanks to both of you for replies. I just got email that my application was rejected because I did not fill in two items that were optional (not tagged as mandatory) on the form -- date visa expires and tel number. I reapplied filling those in. -
I am in Bangkok and did it online on July 17 but still no receipt received by email. How many days have others here experienced recently? I worry that if I do not hear back soon on whether there's a problem with what I filled in the form, it will be too late to do this online and I will need to make the long trip to CW. Also, when I check status, it says "pending" under "status" column. But there's an "X" under "cancel" column. What does that mean? Thank you.

Re-entry Permit At Airport
david_je replied to Siamesepiggster's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
How much time should I allot to getting re-entry at Suvarnabhumi? You can only get it in Zone 2 after going through security, and cannot do so before security, correct? Thank you. -
The Barron's and other guides to prepare for the test are expensive new. Does anyone know of library or used books store that would have such? Or where to post asking if anyone has for sale? I am asking for a student who plans to take the test. Thanks.

Is it correct that when you go to CW to fulfill requirement to "update your TM30," you must prepare all the TM30 documents again (application, documents from landlord, etc.) even if nothing at all has changed since you first did the TM30 a few years ago? You don't just go and tell them there is nothing to update, right? Sorry for basic question.

Your document, which is very helpful, appears to be for those doing the TM30 for first time. As mentioned in my original post, I did the TM30 in June 2019 and my Bangkok address has not changed since and that is the same address I used for the 90 day notification, but the 90 day system rejected my application saying TM30 needs to be updated. Will the TM30 registration site have an update option? Sorry, I have not yet explored it because I can't stare at screen for too long. Thank you.

CGRP for chronic migraine and neurologist recommendation?
david_je replied to david_je's topic in Health and Medicine
Yes, cost is a big concern. I guess getting at public hospital would help. I already have tried botox, nerve block, infusions, and all other categories of conventional meds. -

I saw that, thank you. Would be interesting to hear from someone who has actually done this, or has seen a really good migraine specialist familiar with such treatments. -

They come very frequently or constantly rather than as episodic attacks, and have not responded to conventional medications.
