Based on my first hand experiences... the black shirts where the militant wing of the red shirt movement, i saw them mostly as guards to the red camp during the occupation of Ratchaprasong, and they were not shy to point their guns at people who disagreed with them or refused to be searched...

... so the Deputy PM can cast his accusations all he wants, i saw it with my own eyes, The Black Shirts were aligned/are part of the Red Shirt movement. If they are in fact police then they were not the police under the control of the ex-PM.

Siriwat claimed that the red-shirts favor true democracy and will not coerce others to follow their ideas through intimidation and bullying.

On my True Cable internet the thing goes loopy around 2pm for maybe half an hour, forcing the Modem to lose connection and then it struggles to reconnect. Sometimes its all stable again after 5-10mins, sometimes it can take upto an hour.

This is the only problem i've had with this connection, the rest of the time its rock solid and fast, i get a ping of around 250-270ms to the USA game servers i connect to.

So based on that Statement, he's never coming back to Thailand...

Err the red shirts camapaign among other things for an end to inequality and betterment for ordinary people. That is a social movement. By the way social movements dont have to be peaceful things and inmost countries becpome non-peaceful if resisted. I pre-ordered the standard edition from Amazon, got a pre-order code and have applied that to my account... this will get me 5 days 'head start' and the ability to download the client.

I guess after that its a case of 'wait' for the box to arrive, then plug in the full retail code. Amazon are usually quite good with their deliveries, and in the past when i have pre-ordered something, it gets shipped to me a day or two before offical release and ends up arriving either on the day of release or a day or two after release (depending on my shipping option)

As Amazon already charge you the estimated import tax on taxable goods, stuff tends to fly through customs very quickly as well... not the cheapest of options when all things are considered, but as we cannot get a digital download option right now, i didnt see any other real choice.
