Well some interesting reading there & assumptions, I knew from reading the OP the Guy was Turkish as the fact is there are quite a lot of Turkish people in Germany and only for that reason I thought Turkish (so thats not Rascist IMO) The only other thing I feel from this is possibly the OP has an Issue with German People and assumes they all have a Superiority Complex... Im on hill over looking Patong, see the same fireworks (they dont bother me any) you get the ones your on about, then Tri Trang beach normally launch a few and still a few from Paradise beach go up at weekends/full Moon etc. I think they look great and a free show. Im right at back and above the Wat Suwan Temple on Pisitkoranee (Bottom of Patong Hill first left) I get the Temple bells every morning 03.45 then the first call to prayers drifting across on the night/early morning breeze from the Mosque on Phrabarami rd about 05.00 interspersed by Cockerels here & there crowing their Nut z off... Again doesn't bother me, Gets a bit OTT when the Temple & Mosque start turning up the volume the odd occasion (having a bit of a Mash Up between them lol) it reminds me Im in a good place (better than cold damp dark Blighty anyway lol)

Nope you have it exactly correct, same in Phuky a lot of live music bar security are simply not letting groups of them in as they just want to watch the band, take up table/floor space for free, no drinks... nearly always in groups of four to six. Thais seem not to be too keen on them

Current residency you can use: countries drivers licence, household bill (energy etc) showing name & address in home country where applying (Your passport does not show an address) Just showing first night is sufficient Note* answer all questions (some are generic which may not relate to your particular Visa you are applying for e.g If applying for a SETV 60 day, two of the Qs are for METV (Multiple Entry Tourist Visa) in this instance write a cover note explaining Not Applicable for a 60 Day Tourist Visa and upload that, (I know crazy but it works) if no answer uploaded they will Knock you back and you lose app fee This is covered in previous posts so also use search, lots of YouTube vids on how to complete the online process and these silly questions - also recommends to upload everything in J-PEG or PNG formats NOT in PDF, anyway when I done mine as advised above for a 60 day SETV in UK I had it approved and all done in 4 days hope that helps Here ya go, found link which gives a great vid of exactly what to put and How To, just click title below - Regards

Well I walk Patong beach every morning, the full length between 08.00 - 10.00. All these people flocking there must be late risers as lately its been pretty quiet. The system asks some questions only applicable to METV. You must still upload an answer (or I did) just write down on paper 'Not applicable for a Single Entry Tourist Visa' (if that is the Visa you applying for) take a pic of this & upload save as a jpeg, there is a couple other questions where you can do this also (few threads on here about it in last few weeks so use search) If no answer they may reject application and you lose your $$ I know it sound silly to have to do this but Hey LOS

Last time I got one from Patong Immigration office the CofR was indeed free, however... 'Express administration' was 500baht (Kick up a fuss) they did not give in was told ok Mr come back next week will be leady... over two years ago but I wager you want it there & then you can kick up what you like I dont know anyone who has not had to pay, everyone I ask pays it if they want it on the day

Check current Thai Pass requirements - You MUST have Covid cover Min $10K for 30 days so in answer to your question YES as you need 30 days cover anyway for Thai Pass

Im UK, I thought Germany was a great song, could not believe he hardly scored overall (then remembered tbhis is ESC lol) Im not being biased here but UK was the best song as shown in the betting (excluding Ukraine of course) as we seen the Judges vote was UK with Sweden & Spain, then the public vote with a score going to Ukraine which was unbeatable as soon as it was announced. If we (UK) had to lose it was good it was to Ukraine on the night. As for the French entry we was wondering what, how their song had anything to do with the French nation? it was more like a Turkish or middle eastern type of thing... Anyway Freedom was a winner on the night and the right result, any other year Sam would have won. Hi soz for delay; There was two questions I hand written and the proof of accomadation presented me in my case a little issue as below; Q5. Proof of accom (I stay in same rental 10+ yrs which is all arranged via SMS - they no have website) so I laid out my own Accom recipt in a word doc with the Landlady's details (Tel No etc) on covering my stay dates Frm - To and price paid (which will actually be paid in cash in person) This was only thing I was worried about but it worked for me. Q8 & Q9 These are only applicable to METV, NA for me as I was applying for 60 day SETV so hand written statement that this is not applicable for a 60 day Single Entry Visa as the young lady in YT vid advised, took pic with phone & uploaded it in jpeg used for both these questions. As said submitted application, paid £30 on submission and got VISA approved and emailed back 4 days later

Hi, I applied on E-visa for a 60 day Tourist SETV from UK (so dealt with via London) on 30th April, £30 Fee was taken on submission, the Visa was approved on 4th May, had email confirmation. Seemless transaction. Notes: You must answer all questions asked and upload supporting evidence files where required. If you leave any blank or nothing uploaded it can be rejected and payment forfeited as per T&Cs of site also make sure you upload files in either jpeg or PNG formats - NOT PDFs (Could this be the reason?) It was a bit of messing about but not too hard - for my visa two of the answers I done hand written statements, signed & dated them uploaded, as advised by others. You will have no problems with the visa, and as soisanuk's post +/- 7 days for Thai Pass I applied London last week, approved my 60 day Tourist SETV emailed back 4 days later

I just got a 60 day SETV (in UK) just to say from submitting on E-Visa site, fee is taken immediately and visa was approved and emailed to me 4 days later. Couple of the questions asked I written statement on paper signed & dated then uploaded - (one on invitation to come over from friends/family if not staying in a hotel, another on Income which was NA for a 60 day visa - its a question for METV but you get asked it same in application) all passed no probs. You must upload something to the questions, if miss any it gets rejected and you lose the payment. Also make sure all in JPEG or PNG format (I coverted all pdfs to jpeg) Hope may help anybody else
