To the OP; We had a thread on this last week, the online application is a generic form so some questions are NA for the SETV, as said just write not applicable for a Single Entry Tourist Visa, then upload it (I know crazy but thats how people have been doing it with success, its the Thai way of Bull - $ hittery) And yes better the 60 day SETV plus 30 extension if you want that legnth than relying on Covid extensions which could change at any time OIMO Flip Flop Thai rules spring to mind, id rather know im covered myself, seen lots of fly by the pants Im alrite Jockeys start flapping when things change in LOS... The young lady has a few vids on YT and makes it all clear, for peace of mind SETV is the way to go for your old man, as you said you know its done then. Any covid extensions could change at anytime in the near future so can not be relied on.

W t F?? fast forward 15yrs and know what - It Amazes me why LOS has Suicidal U-Turns 555 (Thats all you need to know about Thai Road Safety) There is NONE

My penny's worth; - Root Cause is the abysmal standard of driver training in LOS (or non exsistant in a lot of cases) Yes the Merc was travelling at excessive speed, yes the Honda came to a standstill across the oncoming active lane (dithering, Rabbit in headlamp type of thing, who knows?) Thing appears to me in the footage is: The Honda starts to execute the turn way too early for the entrance to the building grounds, so is travelling at an odd angle to access the gate coming diagonally across the rd (Honda is actually obstructing vehicles leaving the Grounds out of the exit filter because of its low angle of early attempted turn) shes coming into the wrong side of the gate at execution hence too early, another few meters before turn was to commence - Now the Merc, way too fast, if you look again at CCTV It looks like he thinks I can make it passed in front of the Honda on the nearside kerb of the road. The merc jinks to the left half way along the rd then realizes holy $ hi t not gonna make it, then jinks back to the right, his speed mixed with these quick wheel inputs then upsets his MB ASSYS system and puts the merc into what in the motorbike world is commonly know as a Tank-Slapper!! If/What - Cudda/Shudda etc... If one had been a competent driver accident would probably not happend but on the occasions you get two incompetent drivers then it will end in tears. Hope they ok mind, but yeah its cringe-worthy watching the awful driving... 555

Iv commented on this exact location and the other end of Bangla/Beach rd junction in the mornings over the years - dont forget the Thai riders and passengers do not need helmets like Farang as they all have their 'Klingon Cloaking Devices' activated on approach, thus you can't really blame the poor BIBs for not seeing them can you? In Patong over the years av tried many, but I always return to the Yorkshire on Soi Sansabai; you have three English Breakfasts there on an extensive menu basically Small, Med & Large Good standards, good surroundings. Sausages & Bacon are far better than most you will get in LOS, Black pudding also on the Large one, comes with OJ, Toast, either Proppa Yorkshire Tea or coffee... (I swap the cooked Tomatoes for mushrooms, you get baked beans in a little bowl on the plate) Overall the food at the Yorkshire is pretty Good - been using it since 2007, get told about other places to try, I go try but they never as good as what I get at the Yorkshire, preffered place for a Full English in PATONG

Iv always found best (for me anyway) is Trusty Tin of Snake Brand Talc - Original Lavender or the newer Red can... get it anywhere - 7/11s, Mom n Pop shops etc... and deffo No1 for Jock itch or Sweaty Nads lol... Great for keeping these areas dry & comfortable If never tried before Do Not Over Do it around your Knackers as you will have some interesting results 555 Clinique Happy is a great fresh smelling Citrus daytime fragrance (after a shower or gym) just a little though, been wearing that since a GF back in UK bought me some and I was hooked from then, Hugo Boss do a similar smelling scent but is not as good and is higher priced.
