It is getting more and more bizarre. Thousands and thousands of tourists from these countries are arriving every day. This self - quarantine can't be feasible and most people won't follow it.
We have 18 teachers and 53 students who are meant to be staying at home in self - quarantine for 14 days as they went to one of the six countries last week in half term. Some of them only transited through an airport and I can bet most of them aren't following this recommendation.

Good to see, but sadly he probably doesn't need to be too concerned until an unnamed someone decides what to do next.

Not sure little P can take all the blame, the people above him are calling the real shots, but the last few years have been pretty disastrous in all aspects.
I really couldn't think of many positives at all.

Unless I have missed the memo, why are some news reports on here calling it the original name of coronavirus, and others calling it COVID 19?

Unbelievable story if true.

The national flag carrier has felt the pinch of the outbreak
I would say it has also felt the pinch for about the last half a dozen years.

The propaganda released over the last year or two has been straight from the China handbook.

Representatives of the people must possess the right qualification and not doctor documents
However, being a convicted drug smuggler and having fake qualifications is fine for some.

It must be time for another chim shop whatever to really stimulate consumer spending.

They spout the same nonsense every New Year and Songkran. As has been mentioned each time, how about enforcing these rules for 365 days a year. The police in this country literally do nothing it seems.

One patient is a female, 31, and has a family member with a history of traveling from China, Sukhum said adding that officials are investigating the rest of the family.
Quite a confusing write up. Was this women's family member who returned from China also infected beforehand, if not how did she get it from him / her?

Looking at recent images of him, despite the fake smile, he looks anything but calm. The man looks gaunt, aged and pretty stressed.

Thailand is a democratic country under the constitution
Oh, that constitution you rewrote and then didn't recite properly. Okay mate.

One of the most pathetic things from yesterday's debate was apparently his little military chumps kept demanding that other politicians refer to him as General Prayut, and not Mr Prayut.
Even though he is now meant to be a democratically elected civilian PM (????), he still expects to be known as General. What an absolute bootlicker.

Let's really hope she has some strong evidence about this. Not a good day as usual for little P with the other story released yesterday about him and the suspicious 600M land sale he was involved in.
Although it will make very little difference for the foreseeable future, just imagine the scenes if he is forced out due to corruption.

This Thai bloke has just stated a channel in English and talks about this as well as the Pryuth family alleged involvement in a mysterious 600 million baht land sale many years ago
Good listening. He made lots good points.

Did Cha Cha ever recite the constitution correctly, or was that just overlooked as unimportant?
I forget how it ended up?
No they didn't, and they were still fully endorsed by the main man. That is the worry.

You only have to look at him in this photo to see where his true allegiances lie.

I never realised until reading more stuff on here how many people teaching don't get paid for holidays. Fair play to anyone doing that and being able to live happily.
My experience is slightly different as I have no knowledge of Thai schools, but in my international school we get 14 - 15 weeks off a year fully paid. We only get two public holidays off and are open as usual for most of them. Songkran always falls in Easter so we are off then anyway. We're allowed 3 personal leave days at full pay.
For the 19/20 academic year our holidays are -
October - 1 week
Christmas - 3 weeks
February - 1 week
Easter - 2 weeks
Summer - 7 weeks and two days (optional paid extra summer school for 2 weeks at the end of June / early July)

Let's really hope these people have some clear evidence of wrongdoing.
It is a shame Prayut and his boys have been fully endorsed by an unnamed someone. I can't wait for the day they disappear into the abyss.

Absolutely. Add in the fact that the Junta's well publicised dinner party last year raised over 600M in donations which was deemed as totally fine.

Oh, Thai Sovereignty.
That much respected sovereignty that has seen the most military coups in modern history a long with a constitution which has been re - written the most times in modern history. Let's not forget we have a government that somehow (?) won the 'election', stopped people's fundamental human right to free speech, handpicked senators, the election commission and the constitutional court all to protect itself.
That deserves about as much respect as a <deleted> sandwich in my opinion.
