Electric Vehicles in Thailand
ExpatOilWorker replied to Bandersnatch's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
QC is not Quality Control, which for obvious reason would have been an oxymoron anyway. QC is a plate to travel out of Thailand like Burma 🇲🇲, Laos 🇱🇦, Cambodia 🇰🇭 and China 🇨🇳. Malaysia is the exception, where a sticker is allowed for travel time up to 60 days. -

He should accept another debate and announce in his opening speech that he is not running. -

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales
ExpatOilWorker replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Yes, I understand that. I was merely pointing out the tremendous electromagnetic damage ownership of two EVs can cause. It appears to complete wipe out the ability to do percentage calculus and repeated ownership strongly stimulate gloating, except for ants, they get friendly over time. Bike and Fortuner ownership also have a healing and normalize effect. -

You are on top of things Pib and you are most likely right. Will be interesting when large numbers of EVs start turning 7 years old. As you previously pointed out, the Ciaz discount became the new normal price and as Suzuki is bowing out of Thailand they can still find a few buyers. -
You spelled whining wrong 😁 😂

Second place is close and he should be proud of it.

At this point Trump is not even a potential candidate anymore. His campaign is just window dressing 👗 and symbolic going forward. My girl Kamala is the next president.

Trump is just showing respect to the 47th president of US of A.

Latest carmaker to scale back its EV ambitions amid slowing sales

Did the harvest fail on the cherry 🍒 farm? From the above autolife lists, 36,861 EVs were registered January to July 2023 and 43,411 during the same period in 2024. That is a 17.8% increase YOY, not the measly 13% you claim!!! -

Hope our happy EV owners are ready for a massive bomb 💣 shell. For those of us with a vehicle older than 7 years, we need to go for a vehicle inspection to check breakes, exhaust and lights to renew the annual road tax. Guess what? Starting March 2025 battery 🔋 degradation is part of the vehicle inspection for EVs in China. Most likely something similar will also be required in Thailand 🇹🇭. -

You could also have said 1 in 7, but the EV propaganda machine always reach for the last cherry 🍒. -

That is fake and misleading on so many different level, apart from January, not a single month has reached 1 in 6 or 16.67%, even for RY.1 which is really the only vehicle category EVs selling in. In other vehicle categories EVs are selling is very low numbers. -

Since you are doing absolute numbers, EV sales are down YOY in 5 out of 8 months this year. The FactCheck patrol call out BS. -
Wait, what now? PHEV are not EVs when they burn, but they are EVs when showcasing over inflated sales numbers for EVs. The EV propaganda machine is getting confused during cherry harvest season or just more desperate to manufacture fake news as EV sales stalls.
