  1. The debate is officially over and I have found some unequivocal proof that EV are superior to ICEVs. Thanks to EV owners penny-pinching and general energy saving nature, combined with EV's speed sensitive range, EVs will never have to contribute to the local speed tax. A big shout-out to SeΓ±orLA's, @KhunLA local law enforcement agency for catching these pesky CO2 spreading ICE law breakers πŸ‘.
  2. I have tears in my eyes now, both eyes 😒 πŸ‘€. It is a sad πŸ˜” day and the world 🌎 had been turned completely upside down when you expect the Chinese made batteries in ur gadgets to outlive you. Most, if not all the electronics I got from China only lasted a few years and I have a few temperature sensors that burn through batteries every 3-4 months.
  3. I am getting 30 GB @ 5g speed for 399 with AIS. Pretty reasonable.
  4. We might see some spectacular action 🎬 by Ukraine πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡¦ on or around May 9th, the Victory ✌️ day in Russia πŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί.
  5. Good for them, but not as good as Ferrari πŸš— 🚘 😊 πŸ˜ƒ.
  6. Why don't you just apply for your next extension on June 5-7th, after you return from ur trip?
  7. You see missing clips, I see missing Chinese quality control.
  8. Only if it comes with a big tube of superglue. HzYOkMScoKICRXRk.mp4
  9. They could also just continue to lose money πŸ’° until they go out of business and we can all live happily ever after 😊. https://www.scmp.com/business/china-business/article/3260236/goldman-sachs-says-escalating-price-war-chinas-ev-market-could-ensnare-byd-push-sector-losses?campaign=3260236&module=perpetual_scroll_0&pgtype=article Isn't this exactly what @KhunLA has been looking for? ....cut the price of its Li Mega multipurpose minivan by 30,000 yuan, or 5.4 per cent, to 529,800 yuan. Launched in March this year, the fully-electric minivan described by its maker as being essentially a β€œmobile home” is designed to cater to the travel demands of wealthy families and is fitted with a refrigerator and a sofa.
  10. It will increase sunk cost, but that is OK πŸ‘. The Chinese are losing money on every vehicle sold, but make it up on volume.....and state subsidies.
  11. G-man is the man, we are staying. Here is a bit of factual information: China πŸ‡¨πŸ‡³ is sitting on 10 million of un-needed vehicle production capacity. Expect more discounts and price wars on all vehicle types. The next few years will be golden times to buy a new car πŸš—. New York Times (Free): https://archive.ph/4jCiQ
  12. We have plenty of stickers. You want some?
  13. The reasonable EOW is celebrating 🍾 a million wells completed 😊 πŸ˜ƒ.
  14. Looks like BYD has a service problem in Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡.
  15. Sounds like chaos in the BYD/MG after market service centers. Is it any different in Thailand πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡ or are the Chinese brands hanging their customers out to dry?
  16. More than 100 in a single day on September 24th, 1990. Even of you had lighting balls shooting πŸ”« out of your headlamps, EVs will never match the carnage dino fuel ⛽️ can unleash. https://www.thebigchilli.com/feature-stories/horror-lives-on-after-deadliest-traffic-accident-in-thai-history
  17. Vinny actually has a good point and EV owners might soon "volunteering" lower their cars performance, to avoid paying an insurance premium. In Russia, having a dash camera reduces insurance cost and we know EV owners are penny pinchers at the pump or power cable, so most will go slow 🐌 to save a few baht.
  18. All in not well 😒 🀧 on planet EV. Vinfast might be the first major player to fall from grace. Tesla is feeling the ache of an old man and some of the lesser known Chinese brands are doomed to fail.
  19. Accelerating, but using the brakes??
  20. Bit of fine Thai nonsense journalism from the Nation. Since when is going from 1,250 to 3,100 nearly double? It is more than double!! "Thai Smile Bus will nearly double the number of its electric buses as it aims to overtake the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority..." The Thai Smile electric busses charge 15 baht, where everyone else, aka diesel busses, charge 8-13 baht. "provide a cheaper transport alternative for commuters, he said." But, whatever, the electric busses are nice and hopefully soon they will replace all the older busses. I spoke to one of the bus drivers and he said they have lots of problems, mostly software errors, so not an easy transition.
