  1. Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha on Sunday night said he respects the election results which see Move Forward Party emerge as the top winner. Did he really have any other choice? The Thai people have clearly spoken.
  2. You utter piece of excremen* Boongarin you S.O.D(Son of Devil). May the lord, keep the parents of Ben strong through all this, and also ease the agonizing suffering of the parents of Ping Pong in the waiting to discover whether their daughter is to be found alive or not. REST IN PEACE BEN????????????
  3. Sad,sad news.Rest in peace Joe.A true star who was unwavering in the help he afforded the many Thai Visa and later ASEAN now members. The forum will be a lonelier place without you. GOD BLESS YOU SIR.
  4. They simply can't help themselves.Asking them to be honest is akin to asking a bear, not to sh*t in the woods. If found guilty sack the 5 of them, none of this nambi pambi moving them on to pen pushing or paperwork shuffling nonsense.
  5. They want all the wealthy and highly skilled farangs in here, but appear to do as much as they can to dissuade them, and they wonder why the elite visa is such an ill conceived failure, and not receiving the number of applicants forecast. Does the consumption of rice or noodles affect the decision making part of the brain?
  6. The day a Thai can take responsibility for their actions is the day hell freezes over.Never will they ever allow their trumped up over bloated faces to lose weight.
  7. Money burns a hole in Thai pockets. Only the very few can manage it correctly. Never have I heard more truer words spoken. The parents of todays Thai People were the same and taught their children the proud art of borrowing beyond their means and the mismanagement of money, and so,stupidness begets stupidness, and on and on it goes.
  8. Credit where credits due. Well done to the club and it's owners, they took the right course of action in my opinion, but it was their intoxicated on power bouncer.that should of been made to cough up and foot the compensation bill. That would probably have been."I got no money" A Thai's favourite saying,in which case it should have been him seeing how it felt to wear handcuffs.
  9. Dual pricing personified. Have lived in P'lok 20 years and gotta say things are a lot cheaper than Pattaya where I lived previously, especially fines...Well,on the hole at least.
  10. But by the time you've discovered they're missing, because you're out socialising or at the gym etc .The deed has been done and you're the loser.
  11. Revenge or Karma can very often take a longtime and both enjoyed cold so they tell me.
  12. ????????????Your post has just cracked me right up,funniest post I've read in ages.Brilliant.
  13. Yes so do I,but of course we're not permitted to know.About as much transparency here as scuba diving in treacle. At least in the west, the banks who are responsible for their employees get massive fines, named and shamed for any nonsense that gets commited.
  14. Yes 4 million baht a lot of money, but let's just not put this man down for his naivity or foolishness, there are many like him.Take those thousands of people, through some might say their own greed, who got swindled out of a total of $4 billion(now that's serious money)investing their hard earned with Ruja Ignatova, the Bulgarian crypto queen and her so called bitcoin beater one coin that never existed, but was in fact only a giant Ponzi scheme,so it's easy to jump on the Dutchman, but in truth he's far from being immune or alone when it comes to the schemes of these conwomen.
  15. Police work for the public, not for financial gain. Of course they do,and I'm the king of England.
  16. Yes you are correct. If there was a war in this country, I'm in no doubt it would be the women who would fight and win it,while the guys would sit around all day red eyed drinking their lao kao.
  17. Chaiyanat Kornchaiyanant,a China man with a Thai name. Death penalty ain't gonna happen. Reality, pass the envelopes around to your 40 associates,if you'll be so kind, there's a good man.
  18. Not sure, but I bet a 12-14 year old has probably driven one.Welcome to the land of anything& everything goes.
  19. Yes gambling is illegal in Thailand,so what's the twice a month national lottery then,if not gambling? How hypocritical, one rule for us,one rule for them.
  20. Details are sketchy but found this it does say all THAIS nationwide,no mention of farangs????hope this helps. https://www.nationthailand.com/life/30344303
  21. The Thais are soooo concerned about COVID they all wear masks, but are so blasé regarding road safety, don't concern themselves with the wearing of a crash helmet.
  22. Home of counterfeit products,Thailand has now had the tables turned on itself....Still it will help the govt "eliminate the frustration of finding their lost balls"albeit it's cost them a bomb. Anyone for golf????????????
  23. Pointless. Everything viewable with a Vpn,the nets full of them paid or totally free versions available.Do your own research.
