Just submitted a 90-day online report, using the new system - 14 days before due date. A green 'SUCCESS' box flashed up and the status is now 'Pending', as expected. Also, a printable copy of a filled in TM47 form appeared. Not sure what I'm supposed to do with it, if anything, but I saved it anyway. Also got an email confirming receipt, with a reference number. Living in hope - I could never get the old system to work. We'll see.

I have has a similar problem when trying to use the old online system. I believe that this is caused by a mismatch between your new passport and your TM6 which, if you haven't been out of the country since your passport change, will still be linked to your old passport. It seems that Immigration is incapable of synchronizing their various databases. I have managed to register on the new system and will try to do a report on Wednesday - earliest date to comply with the 15-day rule.

Just managed to apply for the International Certificate. I did have some difficulty though - mainly because my fingers are too big for using the touch screen on the phone so I was making a few mistakes along the way. Normally not a big deal but it seems that Mor Prom isn't too friendly in that respect and I had to start over a few times. Finally got to the end but guess what, my chosen date was not available. Could I choose another one - no, had to start over yet again! Managed it in the end and my QR code should arrive sometime after 13 December. Not actually planning any trips abroad so there is really no rush. Anyone know if the certificates have an expiry date? Presumably need an update after a booster shot?

You may be able to do this at an ATM - not sure - but you will probably need an ATM from your own bank. Easy enough to try anyway.

Two issues here; His daily withdrawal limit, which he can probably change but may need to go into a bank branch to do it. And the maximum that the ATM will dispense per transaction - can make more than one withdrawal if the daily limit is not exceeded.

I don't know what is going on but something has changed with Brave since I last accessed the Barclays site - last month. I generally leave the shields up for all sites and never seem to have any problems. No big deal anyway as I can just down the shields for Barclays. The same problem doesn't occur with Chrome - no shields there, of course, but you can, as always, set cookie preferences etc.

just a heads-up for anyone trying to access Barclays on-line banking from the Brave browser. This appears not to work any more - login page hangs - unless Brave Shields are disabled. I don't know if any other banks are affected by this but it seems that the UK banking industry doesn't like respecting our privacy. Maybe a money laundering thing?

I'm using Mint 19.3 Cinnamon and until recently have had no problems receiving notification of Gmails when they arrive. I use T-Bird as my desktop client but the notifications used to appear on my desktop, even without T-Bird being open - both an alert sound and a notification on my taskbar. Since being made to use Google 2-step verification the notifications no longer appear, although the new emails are added to the IN-box as usual. Is this change likely to be as a result of the change in Google security? I have the problem on both my laptop and desktop machines - same setup on both. I'm not sure as there has also been an update to the Mint kernel very recently so this may also be the cause. I haven't tried reverting the kernel yet - just wondering if anyone else has noticed this change.

Of course, if you have ever tasted genuine Cumberland Sausage from Richard Woodhall of Waberthwaite in Cumbria, UK (by appointment to Queen Lizzie) you will be permanently spoiled for anything else! All the Cumberland sausage here is a pale imitation of the real thing. As far as I know, Woodhall's do not export so unless you are in UK, where their products are readily obtainable, you are stuffed!

Me too as I'm having no success with trying to link Spotify - same result as you are getting. The method detailed by @Stockydoesn't work for me.

Another update. I have had some success with the smart plugs On the Tuya app, if you select a device, there appears an icon that links directly to Alexa and you don't need to go via the Alexa app. I did this and it told me that Alexa already know about the smart plug - don't ask me how - and could be voice controlled and indeed it can be! Now I'd like to get Spotify and some of the other skills to work - not oo hopeful though.
