  1. I understand the minister of almost everything Kuhn whatever has stepped in with new evidence, sources say about 50 mill pieces of new evidence which prove beyond a boubt the young mans has no charge to answer.

The dead cops family were interview leaving the bank and said that they have accepted their share of the evidence and wish the young man and his family well.

    Case closed

  2. She Dueng was probably taken out by the Army as he was a one of theirs acting against them. It was what he was saying in interviews prior to his dealing to that pointed the finger at where the link was. The likes of "it will be over when Thaksin says so" shore put the ownership of all right to the crim.

Dont really know why the army or the Govt would want to take out Sae Deang as at the time he had been saying the had talked to Thaksin and Thaksin had made him the leader of the reds.

Surely this was disruptive to the red leadership and that would have been in the Govts favour.

I suspect the army would rather have seen him stand in front of a court marshel than shoot him.

If the army or Govt had wanted to target the red leadership it would have been easy to shoot one or several of them off the stage with no chance of hitting anyone else.

Sae Deang was shot in the head in a crowd while being interviewd (about being the new red leader) therefore it would have been easy to have injured or killed someone around him.

Lastly a question, did taking him out prevent or slow down the men in black attacks. Answer no.

Then theres the possibility he was working for the army all along, a spy in the red ranks.

  3. Chalerm, hmmm, well we all know where that is going and of course motor mouth Jutaporn, what a great 'interior minister' he would make. And people still vote for this rabble. I hope as per the other post this morning the rice scam scheme will bring these fools down before they get their greedy little mits on the country's coffers. And if these two get it on, you can imagine how Ms Yingluck will then look - a total puppet unable to bring her cabinet to heel and the puppet master will care not at all as Ms Yingluck is just another expendable pawn - even family - in his obsessed narcissistic game of power.

I have my doubts AW if anyone voted for any of those mentioned.

From what I understand they are all list MP's.

I thought at one point that Jutaporn had all the qualifications for a PT cabinet post, jail time, out on bail, suspended sentance, etc etc.

But on farther thought there is one thing he lacks; A well honed sense of avoiding responsibility.

  4. The temple land into a golf course thing is going to be a major problem for the Govt with or without Khun Y.

The correct thing is to give the land back to the correct owners.

However that would mean taking it from the present owner.

But who is the present owner?

    So thats not on.

A solution could be to return the land to the temple and compensate the present owner for the market value of the golf course plus about 46billion for expenses, worry etc.

This compo would of course be from Govt coffers, in otherwords the Thai peoples money.

Then the whole thing could be forgotton and Khun Y would not need to be hounded any farther.

  5. Yesterday, Yongyuth called a press conference at Saket Worawihan Temple to announce his decision to leave the Cabinet, after offering alms to monks. He said that he would retain his positions as Pheu Thai leader and an MP.

Wonder if he offered them their land back?

I would expect his demise would be a Thaksin decision.

After all he has now turned into a loser and Thaksin does not tolerate loss.

Look back to his days as a football team owner and see what happened to the manager every time the team lost.

  6. Meanwhile, the side opposing Yongyuth's exoneration cited the case of Pol Maj-General Piraphan Premputi, former secretary-general of the Anti-Money Laundering Office (AMLO), and his deputy Pol Colonel Sihanart Prayoonrat. The two faced disciplinary probe for unlawfully investigating personal banking transactions of about 200 journalists, members of non-governmental organisations and opposition politicians.

Loved that bit, seems that AMLO officials get sacked for investigating money laundering.

Just posted this on another thread, clearly shows how serious the Govt is.

  8. As part of their efforts to combat Malaria and dengue scientists have developed a vegitarian strain of mosquitos.

As they are very virile when they are released they are expected to soon take over from the present mosquitos.

However more research will now be done as farmers have raised concerns that their crops may become infected.

  9. I have been watching the river level here in Singburi very carefully and it is still just a shade over 10m.(this morning)

I have only been living here for 3 years but in the last two the river has at this time of the year been around 13m

That means the river is about 3m below last years flood level and still 1m below the natural river bank level (no flooding here)

Was thinking that what we have now is probably about normal river level for the wet season although I have no proof of this.

If this is correct why is there so much flooding in so many places at this time?

Has the flood protection work been put in the wrong place or is there some other reason?

  10. Perhaps you all have the wrong take on this.

The flood water that left the river flowed "down' away from the river therefore it can not flow back up because it is now lower than the river level.

That flood water will either stay lower than the river till the river drops or flow to a lower level away from or parralel to the river.

The only way it can get back to the river is if it is pumped back up.

These floods therefore take the pressure off the river downstream from where they have happened.

I live in the center of where all these floods are happening, in Singburi and here there is no flooding in fact the river has dropped overnight by 30cm to 10.10m from a peak of 10.60 m a few days ago. Yes I go look every day.

Here it has not reached the level of the natural river bank and is below the base of the river wall in the town.

It will have to rise about 1 m to get above the natural river bank level.

Contrast that with the previous 2 years when it was above 13m.

It will need a lot more rain in the north to get it to that height.

  11. I live in Singburi and since last year there has been a lot of strengthening of the foundations of the river wall on each side of the river.

So I can say that something has been done in some places.

last year and the year before the water broke through under the wall and the work done this year should prevent that.

However saying that, it still does not help if there is as much water as the previous two years for the river wall that protect the town cause a bottleneck efect that causes the river to back up and overflow upstream from the walls.

This will happen wherever these walls are.

River level for the last 3 days has remained at 10.35 m last year it was at 13,45 m at the hight of the flooding.

That was on the 19th and 28th October from then on it decreased.

Still a month and some to go.
