  1. Shouldn't that be 'soon to be ex Prime Minister Hun Sen' ? https://www.theguardian.com/world/2023/jul/26/cambodia-pm-hun-sen-steps-down-hands-over-power-son
  2. Interesting aside..... This record was produced by Apollo C Vermouth aka Paul McCartney.
  3. Ready by the year 3000....... It does seem ambitious for a country that hasn't yet managed to get a train system that is faster than a horse.
  4. EGAT - Electricity Authority of Thailand What's the G for?
  5. The table is labelled 2022-2023 so perhaps it is 12 months rather than just the first 7 months of the year.
  6. Only if you get caught....
  7. Perhaps at the next election they can announce the result before the vote, just to make things a bit clearer
  8. A 'renowned platform' - so renowned, nobody has heard of it....
  9. What!! You mean a cracked copy of Windows 7 running a 15 year old anti-virus is not the pinnacle of computer security?????
  10. If India had the same population density as SIngapore, it would have over 27 billion people. If it matched Monaco, it would have 56.8 billion, so we can conclude that it is nowhere near the world's most densely populated nation. In reality, it is the 19th most densely populated and China is the 62nd.
  11. Yes, its a really 'painful dilemma' ????????????
  12. Adding a couple of teaspoons of lemon juice to the water has the same effect on the gluten strands. I have used this before if the batch of flour is of lower quality (which happens as a result of weather problems usually)
  13. I'm not quite sure how I can contain the excitement. After all, its not every week that a small blue bird is replaced by an X and then after that iconic, earth shattering, awesome experience to have another even more uniquer and iconical and awsomating news that, if you can write, you can send unvideoed clips of just iconic words on TokTik to your netizen pals. Next week they will release even more awesome and uniquer iconic feature experiences. How will we cope????
  14. A lot of criticism for Thai borrowing practices and their 90.6% household debt to GDP and I wonder how many are from the UK (100.1%) or Australia (117%). Clearly experts in the topic...
  15. Yes but consider what they can do to your ego, sitting up there above all the peasants in something even bigger than they can afford, pompously trying to get the leviathan round the streets. Why, in such an imposing and 'designed by cartoonists' road destroyer, they are certain they are King of the Road. An ideal vehicle for the feeble minded.
  16. Don't you mean 'How are English skills in Portugal'?
  17. That is proportional representation. However, a lot of democratic countries have 'first past the post' systems where the country is divided into constituencies in which the winner is the one with the most votes. That can bring a result where a majority of the population votes for one party, yet do not win the election. Such systems can be found in the US and UK and in both cases in recent years, the party with fewer votes have won power. Still democratic though.
  18. Perhaps he should have appointed one of his Russian mates instead...
  19. Meanwhile in Europe, over 100 million are expecting temperatures of up to 323 Kelvin over the weekend.
  20. I suspect their eyes are more likely to have been on Myanmar.
