I did 5 treatments in Pattaya 4 years ago at a cost of 4000 baht. I did 1 follow up treatment 3 months later. As I say, it worked for me when my back got really bad. I still have problems, but manageable. Good luck.

Acupuncture worked for me. May be worth a try.

If they have recently been back in Australia, they would be getting the extras for 6 weeks before it reverts back. -

I found this on FB. Reason for post here, even though it is about Thai Tax, is it refers to Australian Super and I am sure Australian Pension will be treated the same. Note that the TRD told him he doesn't need to file a return because his income is from Super which is great. I know things can change and different offices have different views but this is a factual positive. At this stage it looks like Aussie pensioners will not need to file a tax return in TH. -

A mate that is doing the 2 years to make his pension portable got the document below when he asked them for proof in writing that he can leave for a holiday overseas during the 2 years. -
Well, hopefully what you have is restored and you don't have to hang around too long. Good luck Simon. Holding thumbs for you.

Another great picturesque trip. Great photos. Thanks.

Simon, it would be great to expand on the details, as in hospital, cost and your impression of the procedure do far. Cheers.

From the article quoted: The Revenue Department invites taxpayers to perform their duties as good citizens and participate in creating national security by submitting personal income tax forms, Por.Ngor.Dor. 90 and Por.Ngor.Dor. 91, for the 2024 tax year, within the deadline. "as good citizens" Does not apply to any of us.

As Below quote: * - Basic supplement $28.90, which is paid even after more than 6 weeks overseas - Total supplement to $44.80 minimum to $83.20 maximum, pro-rated by the amount of part pension received, the part of which is on top of the basic supplement ceasing after 6 weeks overseas - Energy supplement of $14.10, which ceases after 6 weeks overseas * You were receiving $28.90 +$0 in Thailand You are Receiving $83.20 _ $14.10 in Australia. That is your difference. Your Centrelink payment notice will spell it out for you. -
Looks like a nice area to explore. Enjoy!

Here is the scenario: You get the discount with a supplier and you are home for 9 weeks before you leave. After you leave, the supplier tallies your bill for the quarter and at the same time pings Centrelink for eligibility. Fail as your card is no longer valid and you lose the discount. In theory the card is suspended as you get the same number on the card that is reissued. -

After 6 weeks out of the country, the Pension Supplement goes to and stays at $28.90 and the Energy Supplement goes to zero. The reason that Centrelink cancels the concession card is to stop you getting concessions, like on your energy bill at your home, while out of the country. The companies have to check that your concession is current when they bill you. -
Nice ride! Very scenic.

No, first you said, he said he knows nothing about it, then you said he said he said he knows about it. "but he definitely knows what it's about. He said so." You didn't say you said so. You said he said so. Again. Get a grip.
