That is inflation...years ago it was 300 Baht....

If I could vote I would vote for freedom...and I am no junkie, don't use Marijuana, don't smoke, but I am also against restrictions on smoking....it is all not the business of the government. Prayuth and Anutin are telling me what substances I can smoke and if it is the wrong one they put me for decades into jail...that is complete crazy but many people like it that way.
-
Yes in the Chinese press it is like people with an overdose Marijuana are dying on the sidewalks.....One of our supplier sent me an email about it after seeing it in TV......China is quickly catching up with fake news...

Election commission might tell that he broke the law with the iTV shares. I think he is already history and they need to find the next fraudster. Why is there no clean opposition?
-
You are wording it too soft. If you decriminalize drugs, the drug dealer goes bankrupt. He has no interest to get people addicted. There won't be any bad mixed drugs. There won't be any criminality because addicted people need money for the next shot. Therefor much less police, border control etc is needed. And if someone dream up some scenario of kids randomly use drugs, than you can make them prescription from a doctor and sold by pharmacy only. But there is a huge industry behind the narcotics and an equal one in fighting them. So not only you are right it is much more.

So the opposition that is here supported by most got their will and Thailand goes back into the dark ages and against personal freedom.... I hope many people vote "freedom"

I think there won't be any fast change, just a slow move into multi currency trade.....Sure many countries want to weaken the Dollar. -

yes rupee maybe not such a good idea, but the risk that someone has too many Yuan is not high as China is a big exporter. Or you could trade in gold (not transporting it in real of course, just on paper). Or you could create a new currency like the Euro...than you can print money for 20 years till everyone find out that it is fraud. -
When you apply the rule of law even to rich oligarchs it is a good step in the long term....but difficult in the short term

Thai army chief says “coup” should be removed from media’s vocabulary
h90 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
It is plain nonsense...someone who want to make coup would never admit it. And there are situations when a coup would be the only right thing to do....say some evil premier want to stage a false flag incident to start a war with Cambodia....Military would than need to remove that wannaby Hitler quickly. -

Yes these militias could not stop any invader. But they could harass them later, when you don't know who has a gun and may shoot an enemy soldier at night while on the day he/she looks like a regular farmer. And having groups in the forest who do small scale attacks or blow up things and disappear again..... Numbers: I am not sure if you offer for 16-18 year old that they are allowed to shoot big weapons on weekend and afterwards have a beer.....And if you are good and reliable you can keep your rifle in your home. And if you are really good you get a free training on the real big things....I guess that would attract a lot of males even some females. Well Buddhists.....They follow their religion as good as the Christians follow their 10 Commandments.... -

A smaller professional army is much easier sent to some foreign intervention...will be much easier some politicians mercenary. I would go the other way and make it mostly decentralize militias that are in peace time more like some volunteer firefighter (which are common in many countries). Thaksin tried already to send Thai Army to Afghanistan...luckily he got a lot resistance. Local militia who know their area, there people, look without uniform like civilians can be very efficient and very motivated. -
