Learn Mua Thai basics for ladies ... a 1/2 days training would be with you any where in the world!!!...here in Pattaya, FairTex Sports club offers defensive training for European women, I see novelist women gain confidence and know this is the best insurance for defence and opens doors for further physical conditioning, this would inspire a NEW opportunity for Thai's to seek employment in the tourist industry.

It's a bad idea to give them false hope that half a days self defence training in any style let alone a system like Muy Thai that has little if any defensive moves would protect them from any attack.

My wife had a similar issue in her school in Chachoengsao. The rich kids got the best education there and the poor kids had to work so much harder because they got what was left.

She said it herself a 2 Tier education system. Luckily she worked hard enough to get herself through even though she was in the 2nd tier (that was also during Thaksins reign).

This just smacks that PTP want to keep the poor ignorant and appease the rich so that they stay in power.

We did it the opposite way. Our son was born in England so Birth Certificate was free. The Thai birth Certificate was about £1 from the Embassy in London. All we needed for that was the British Birth Certificate and my wifes ID card and copy of my passport.

He now enjoys both nationalities (well he's only 5 months)

Ok Motorcy taxi guys have beaten many farangs but twice now they have been a good source of help for me.

First time a Thai lad going the wrong way on 2nd road no lights or helmet clipped my new bike I chased after him. The Motorcy guys up the road saw it and stopped him I strolled up and without a word pucned the shit out of him. The motorcy guys patted me on the back and said he was a bad man.

Second in my local and a foreigner hit my car the motorcy guys outside saw himdo it chased him and stopped him. They then came back told me what happened and took me to the scene. Guy gave me some money of course i gave the Motorcy guys a tip.

Sometims they can be good guys and understand that not all Farang are bad.

I see very little trouble in Pattaya i was out last night for my Birthday got royally drunk and got home safely not a hint of any trouble.

So all you pattaya bashers try coming here it's actually safer than a lot of other parts of thailand....................

I spent a few months in Hua Hin and loved it but I was introduced to the underbelly and it sent me cold.

One of these is the Wing Tsun Blitz Defence program he wrote a forward in GM Kernspechts book of the same name.

New practitioners to WT learn the Blitz defence program this aims to get you competent in self defence in about 6-9 months. You learn and repeat the basic principles for the majority of attacks you will face to get you a little more street smart.

After that you then get into the art of WT....

The BD program does not make you invincible but the average thug would be seen off by it.

Oh I forgot to mention you don't need to register the marriage with the UK embassy.

You just get a certified translation of your marriage cert and that's ample for anything you need to do legally in the UK.

You can lodge a copy with the embassy if you want but the cost is about 3,000 baht and all that's for is if you require a copy in the future and they will still charge you to get a copy anyway.

Firstly congrats in your pending nuptuals.

You need to go to the UK consulate and get a letter of Affirmation this confirms you are free to marry a Thai.

Take that to a translator to get it translated into Thai.

This then needs to be stamped by the ministry of Foreign affairs in Bangkok.

After that the two of you go to the Amphur with all the documents and you sign to marry.

Hope that's clear enough.
