Sorry, she has now been more specific - apparently it's my email address that's the problem - it's never been a problem before (cscoms.com). I'll try another address.
[OK, sorry to bother you - my gmail address appears to work].

Just tried it and it is working. https://extranet.immigration.go.th/fn90online/online/tm47/TM47Action.do
I'm only going by what my wife tells me:

Having heard from a colleague who successfully reported on-line to Surin Immigration recently, I had another go today. Just my luck - the site is down!

If you do not get an approval you have to check with your local office about it since they are the ones that do it.
Or in my case "don't do it"!

There is no help desk that I am aware of.
Why am I surprised?

I like the phrase "when necessary" rather than "if necessary".

Where did you find that on the online reporting site?

Note : Please keep the transaction reference number for follow-up or reporting a problem to the help desk when necessary.
Has anyone tried reporting the problem to the help desk?
I cannot even find the help desk!

The last Certificate of Residency that I required was in 2011 and it cost me Bht 500.00 (Surin Immigration). I am informed that they are now free in said office. However, another Immigration office appears to charge Bht 1,500.00 for the letter. Is this another case of each office being left to their own devices?

It is possible to cancel a pending report. It is the last selection on the page you go to after accepting the terms.
You were a day early. I assume the office rejected it as soon as they received it.
At least it proved that there is actually someone at the receiving end!
Or does it?

Did you cancel the report that was pending? That could cause problems if you didn't.
I think others have reported getting a not approved notice not rejected.
No, I did not cancel the previous "pending" report. I was not aware that that was feasible.
Anyway, I resubmitted it this morning (in case I'd submitted it too early - 30th October for a 14th November report date) and it is now showing "pending".

The site was up and running last weekend. I submitted my notification on Monday 31st July at 07:30 (15 days before the due date). The notification is currently displayed as "Pending".
My on-line report status was still returning "pending" 90 days later. Not to be beaten I tried again on Monday last. Within 30 minutes I had a response:

It was not a matter of selecting the browser. It is because immigration's servers were setup before other browsers were commonly used.
Steam driven by the way they perform!

I get the return: "No backend server available for connection: timed out after 10 seconds or idempotent set to OFF or method not idempotent."
Both on I.E. and Firefox.

Afraid you will have to check with the LTO you use. Much like Immigration, every government office interprets the rules like they want. You are pretty safe with a Yellow Book, since it's purpose is to show a foreigners residence
But there was a period when it was reported here that Pattaya LTO would only take a Residence Certificate ! So who knowsI've been through the phonecall/checking routine previously for information from other Government departments. You arrive at the office with the paperwork specified only to find the the provider of the information is not there and other staff tell you that she/he doesn't know what they are talking about.
I shall be visiting the Immigration Office next week for a 90 day check-in (internet reporting doesn't appear to work out here in the sticks) so I shall ask there. Of course, there is no guarantee that they will get it right.

I've read many of the posts on this and other threads and all refer to Resident Certificates/Letters from Immigration. I have my name entered on my yellow Tabien Baan. Will this and a copy of same satisfy the requirements of the DLT (Surin Province)?

I have just received by monthly bill from Truevision. Not only have they stopped broadcasting the ELP but they've increased my monthly rental by Bht 282.48. (Gold package, two set top boxes). We've rung Truevision BKK who appear to have a standard script answer for enquiries such as these. Does anyone else have an increase?

Hello Gents, ive been looking for McGarretts powder and APVinegar in Udon thani, has anybody seen it there? Thanks.
I have never seen McGarretts before I received this pack. It was obtained from Villa in Pattaya I think. I don't know APVinegar but they have recently started selling Balsamic vinegar here (Surin) in Tesco Lotus and Makro.

If it's the same as the McGarrett's that I've just had delivered by a friend, you may find that it's English mustard. Afaik, English mustard is always mixed with water and is intended to deliver pain from the back of the throat, through the nose and into the frontal brain area. Mixing it with other than water will result in Dijon or American mustard I guess.

I get the rang mahal range in the frozen food section at Makro sri nakarin here in Bangkok .Range in price from 215 for 500 grams for the tikka masal to 250baht also 500 grams for the korma , 220 baht for the rogan josh .After reading of the prices for the buffet at the rembrant hotel which is also rang mahal id rather make my own ,and just maybe they themselves prepare it from these starter sauces .
The widest selection of Indian spices, ghee, etc. in BKK I have found at Peng Lee store, Asoke market.
I have been to that store just recently. They even have methi leaves! Very good.
I have modified many Indian curries to my own taste over the years and now have "core" recipes which I use frequently. A few are on my site http://freebeerforyorky.com/recipes.html and many more on a sister site http://www.your-recipe.com/

Check the times. Fox/Starsports believe that the race starts at 14:00 Thai time when, in fact it starts at 13:00 (according to the F1A).

There doesn't appear to be any mention on that site as to what I personally would expect to pay for electricity. As you say you work for the commission, could you confirm the current tariffs (excluding Ft and VAT) in order that I may check that my electricity bill is correct?
I have no interest in discussions on how you check your electricity bill or about the knowledge base of staff at your provincial PEA office.
So you do not know the tariffs?
The tariff schedule on the PEA and MEA websites should be correct and up to date.
The tariif schedule on the PEA website was last updated in December 2007. The tariff schedule on the MEA website appears to be up to date but as it is not dated, it's difficult to confirm.
