Sorry, no. There was a time when Europe and America were pretty much aligned. Trump is the main reason why that is not the case anymore. Other American politicians also changed a little here and there, but normally this happened slow and with diplomacy. Now it seems Trump wants to destroy the whole US Europe relationship in weeks. And the way he is doing it, it seems he succeeds. I think that is not good for the USA and not good for Europe. I am sure many people in the USA oppose Trump and what he does, but it seems most of them don't stand up and even if they would stand up it's hard to know if it would make any difference. As far as I see it, and looking at written articles and interviews, Trump is just destroying this relationship without hope it can be rebuilt anytime soon. Sad, very sad.
