Soi Buakhao planned to be changed to one way
They did. Motorbikes just did a swerve, cars turned left and then tried to u-turn back. Result? Complete chaos. Just like on Thepprasit right now.

Thai Singer Faces Reckless Driving Charges After Accident
He went to a private hospital - how? - had a plaster stuck to his ear, and then fled. I can make this stuff up too. So what's the difference? He evaded the law. Was never breathalysed nor did he provide a urine sample. In other words, the cops let him go without being tested for anything. Typical hiso behaviour. And cops reaction. Bent as. And is that his mangled wreck in the photo? Red Bull Mk II but no casualties so who cares? He goes home, has 2 large brandies, so any test is invalidated.

Pattaya Receives Esteemed Transparency and Integrity Award
I've yet to see any details of the contractor, the specification, length of time, cost, contact numbers listed anywhere near these ridiculous endless works. Usually all on display on billboards. Now, 2nd Rd up again, Thepprasit a total death trap, completely clogged up, 3rd Rd no better than a goat track in places. What a cheek awarding this guy anything except a sxxxk in the mouth.

WRLife medical insurance - experiences?
Update. I was eventually admitted as it turned out more complicated than I thought. Estimated length of stay was 5 to 7 days, @ 30 to 35k per night. WRLife didn't take long to approve it. It took a while for the paperwork to get to them. Room excellent, 10th floor, bay view, lovely staff, decent TV channels, and food much improved after I complained initially owing to crimes committed in the name of the hapless "American Breakfast". There's a 7/11 on the ground floor, a Starbucks, S & P and a few other places to hang out. I'm free to wander about, wheelchair service available 24/7. So hats off! WR came through on my first serious claim. Luckily not for too serious a problem. Should be gone in a day or two. Course, YMMV, but I'm happy with it so far.

Cheap blood testing clinics in Pattaya?
No idea. It came up in an annual checkup at Memorial. I could look it up if I was home but I'm not. I think Lifecare offer it as an optional extra. Or as a standalone.

Old condo buildings in Pattaya. Do you live in one?
Excellent and congratulations. But I would imagine either one, or both of you, are "in the business" so to speak, and not mere punters. 23 properties in 13 years, some rentals...this is not a hobby, right? Whatever, you are good at it. Knowing where, when and what to buy and at what price, and reselling at a profit. That takes a lot of expertise, experience and business savvy, and detailed market knowledge. So you're far from the average Jo. But some details are missing. You can sell at a profit but still make a loss overall. Maintenance costs, running costs, legal fees, CGT if it exists here, whatever other taxes there might be, condo costs, advertising and marketing etc etc. I'm not sure how straightforward it all is.

When has history been on the correct side of censorship?
Step 5 post it all here, or wherever, and entitle it "World wide hoax exposed and I can prove it!". You must have spread the word somewhere, or why were people shunning you? I think many conspiracy theorists have taken cover after realising the BS they were spewing out was just that. BS.

Old condo buildings in Pattaya. Do you live in one?
Maybe in London, sure. I bought and lived in a flat in London I bought for £68k and sold 10 years later for £380k. It's exceptional. Ask any Aussie, Kiwi or Safa. Everybody got rich in those days. But here? You've got to be kidding!

Cheap blood testing clinics in Pattaya?
Having said that, I had a Hep B scare years back, massive viral load, no idea when or where infected, showed up on an annual checkup out of the blue. Self medicated with retroviral combinatory drugs. Viral load went to undetected within a week according to Lifecare. Went to Banglamung public hospital to get retested. Straightforward procedure. Results within 24 hours. Same result as Lifecare. Undetected. Minimal cost. YMMV. It's one of those situations where you have to decide on your own course of action. If you're nervous about a result, want a 2nd opinion, don't know what to do, don't understand what the results mean, you must talk to a qualified professional. At a private hospital it shouldn't cost more than maybe 1500 THB for an initial consultation. Might save a lot more in the long run.

Cheap blood testing clinics in Pattaya?
Yes. If you want a proper medical opinion, aftercare, prognosis etc, you have to either use a clinic, not a blood testing centre, or the OPD of a private hospital. Lifecare don't offer any of the above. They simply hand you the lab test results. If you don't know how to read them, you'll have to talk to somebody who does. I've used Memorial Hospital in the past but have moved to Bangkok Pattaya Hospital now. Sure, it's going to cost probably an extra 1000 or two but it's your health and well being at stake.

4 Hurt As Ambulance Jumps Red Light And Hits Pick-Up Truck
I disagree. Yes, the pickup t-bones the ambulance because the ambulance driver has done a right almost in front of him. Neither could see the other because of the traffic waiting at the lights. But it is the ambulance who makes the manoeuvre that causes the accident. The pickup is simply driving in a straight line towards, and through, a green light. Yes, as has been noted here, colour of lights is pretty damn meaningless here and people go on whatever colour they choose. The ambulance is going through a red light. But if you're going to manoeuvre left, right or whatever, it's incumbent on you to make sure the way is clear, it's safe, given the driving conditions, and that those in front of you, behind you and beside you, are made aware of your intentions well before execution. I had a head on collision on Chelsea Embankment with a guy who did a right in front of me. It happens very fast. Headlights where there shouldn't be headlights and from 30mph to 0mph in 10m. My cab was almost totalled. £15k to repair. They called it 50/50. My witness didn't want to appear in court although he made a statement at the scene supporting my version.

Cheap blood testing clinics in Pattaya?
This is to where a number of clinics in Pattaya send their samples. But I believe from here they get sent to Bangkok for analysis. YMMV.

Dee money slooooow
Yes. Wise won't fetch money from your Thai bank account. Dee will. So you have the option of using Dee to fetch THB and change them into something Wise will accept. Or just skip the Wise part altogether.

4 Hurt As Ambulance Jumps Red Light And Hits Pick-Up Truck
I saw this on Thai TV news. Over and over, Thai style. I have to say I think the ambulance driver was probably at fault. He does a right in front of the oncoming pickup, which he couldn't see. The pickup driver really had no chance. Tragic. So many innocent victims. But the other vehicles travelling in the same direction as the pickup had stopped at the lights. Maybe to turn right. Maybe there was a red turning right light. Anyway, I think if you see cars waiting at a traffic lights on a green light... What's your reaction? Always approach traffic lights, in fact ANY intersection here, with caution. You never know what hell is about to break loose.

How big is Nan town?
My ex wife was from Phrae. Lovely province. I made endless attempts to hop over to Nan while living in her village, but they had some magic which kept pulling me back. At least, that's what it felt like. Years and years later I flew up there and had a glorious time just driving the incredible roads. Can honestly say i miss the old Thailand. Buffalo carts, heat haze, music drifting over the paddies. Too hot to think. Just be.

Quite. You rarely, if ever, see ladyboys chasing women.

Foreign hero’s good deed ends in Pattaya Beach brawl: Man injured trying to stop transwomen tiff
If you sit down with a lady boy, at least with some I've met, you'll find a very different story. Many are very well off. They have extremely rich patrons, they have cars and properties. They are sophisticated and erudite. Give a non hetero a bad name and everything else follows. Even the word homosexual is misused. The homo part of it does not refer to the Latin "man", but the Greek, "same". Yes, believe it or not, they actually like, even prefer, their own gender. Heteros just see the "opposite" sex as territory to be colonised. Why is war rape such a potent weapon?
