In my condo contract it stipulates that the landlord has to give 48hours notice to inspect the apartment. I've had them request to show people the place while I am renting so they can rent it after my contract ends and it has always been fine.
Check your contract or read up on your rental rights. He can't just pop over whenever he likes.

id tell him to kick rocks after the first visit.

They do something similar to this at the wake park near Bangkok.
It is like a water booster on your feet and you can blast up and down through the water like a dolphin swims.
They retail for like $6000 and costs like 2000 or 3000 baht to rent it for 15min from memory.
I can dig up a picture of video of it.

A lot of people in this thread have no idea about girls. You should stick to hookers and stop offering your awful advice to others.
I'd single out posts but there are so many...
-
Here's an idea, op; avoid taking girls you just met back to your room.
Precisely!! Very well put. This is Thailand; "good girls" do NOT go back to your room with you on a first date. Or any date, for that matter. The OP is just too cheap (or too conceited and full of himself) to pay for it. Nothing wrong with paying for it, nothing at all.
Good girls rarely go back with a stranger, whether thai or not
Nonsense.
You old farts know nothing about girls.
I always get a laugh at all these old blokes giving their advice on girls in Thailand. Specially the old "good girls" moniker.

get out and meet people, make friends, and try new hobbies.
basically the same thing you would do living anywhere in the world...
-
this mother and her daughter at least, they have some brain. Sometimes i really wonder why 67 millions thai people dont run away from Thailand...
Yet people like you are dying to live in Thailand..
Guess you don't have any brains either.

You say Malaysian taxi drivers never ask for more than the meter, are you serious?
And if so have you never been to Kuala Lumpur?
That is exactly what I was going to say.
The OP is completely clueless.
Kuala Lumpur taxi drivers are 100x worse than Bangkok.

Grossly understated "blackman"
agreed, i wanted to say much more but i was driving along the perimeter of this eyesore and posting when the traffic stopped
i have seen it look really bad in the past and i am hardened to the abuse Thais give this stretch of road but today was particularly shocking even for me
i have some friends from UK currently holidaying in Los Christianos in Tenerife for Christmas
they have sent some photos
by comparison the two could not be further apart
here's an example of beach road in Tenerife
yet you are in pattaya and not tenerife.
i wonder why....

wayned. he isn't talking about a thai visa. he is asking about the laos visa.
i thought that was obvious.
"im just going to pop in then back to thailand..."
"lao transit or tourist"
lol

1. Im am not a 60 yr old guy with a 20 yr old girl.
newsflash mate, you are.
you think a girl in her 20s wants a bf in his 40s unless he is providing money/security?
lol
you are basically a sugar daddy no different from your example in point 1.

The case of Vorayuth Yoovidhya represents everything that is wrong with Thai society. A good for nothing who can drive his flash car down Sukhumvit rd at 150kmh+ under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol - no-one will know which because no police officer is powerful enough to investigate- kill a policeman and then hide behind high-security gates until the effects have worn off and a friendly policeman can be paid off. Whether Vorayuths daddy paid 300,000 baht or 3 and a half million in compensation to the dead officers family, it is a drop in the ocean compared with the 150 billion baht that grandad was worth. In fairness to grandad (Chaleo), he worked (by all accounts) very hard for his money, but the kids of these Chinese rich, just exploit the ordinary Thais: 35 million or even 350 million, might have hurt a bit more. They are above and outside the law and can afford to pay anyone off who gets in their way.
Another case that predates this one is the case of the 16 year old (under age for driving) daughter of the Na Ayuthaya family who was allowed to drive a family car on route 32 and killed 8 people. Everyone was paid off and Im sure the girl has now been bought a place at a prestigious university and will absolutely undoubtedly emerge with a top class degree and without any shred of conscience for those she mangled up.
Newsflash, it just isn't Thailand. This is how it works the world over.
Just look at the case from yesterday in America. Teen kills 4 people in drunken hit and run.
Gets off on probation because his family is rich.
People who think this is just a Thai thing are ignorant and naive to how the world works. Only difference in Thailand is everything is a bit more transparent and the barrier to entry for benefiting off corruption is a lot lower.

Take the batteries out of the remotes and put a password on the computer and as soon as they arrive go out and come back next morning!
I sound like a bit of an ogre perhaps, but now my wife respects my wishes.....
Perhaps my trick is ME!
I have to laugh at how pathetic people like you are. You are the reason why foreigners in Thailand get a bad reputation.
The stereotypical fat old farang who marries a bargirl and cannot speak a word of thai outside of "checkbin krap"
Then to make matters worse you can't even integrate into your own family? I couldn't even imagine treating family like you do at home. Can't even look after guests (your family no less).
You want to know why you are not accepted in Thailand and why your family treat your house like crap when they visit? Because you are an ignorant self-absorbed <deleted> that has no consideration to put any effort into Thailand, Thai Culture, or your Family.
The worst part is you are oblivious to this and sit up on your high horse and just think you are above them, and it is just their fault for being Thai.
I've never had guests or family act like this, but then again I don't live my life like you do, and I treat people the way I would like to be treated..

Don Mueng covers a lot more international flights now than previously when the last riots at the airport were on.
If you fly low budget, you will get through no problem.

Thai embassy in Canberra only offers dual entry now.
Melbourne only offers dual entry also.

wonder how many you could do in a row lol

why do you need one so badly and why cant you afford to pay for one? just curious?
gym memberships are insanely cheap in Thailand with gyms everywhere, and running is free outside.
not trying to have a jab.

been to thailand 12 times, can't speak Thai, wants to live in thailand forever, and only wants to meet English speaking Thais?
I don't understand you people.
Been in Thailand for two years now, and don't feel any desire to learn the language at all. Thai colleagues at work talk only of soap operas, gadgets, movies and food. I feel I am not missing much not being able to talk about these subjects with them.
Other Thais, who can talk of philosophy, literature and intellectual subjects speak and master concepts in English. I don't see the point blundering my way through a language which is internationally useless.
I am not planning on staying in Thailand beyond the time I am posted here...
And as to living here, if they want my business, they learn English. Otherwise, I take my business elsewhere (happened with insurance).
What would be your opinion of a foreigner who came to your country to live and had no desire to learn the local language?
i find it strange for someone to say how much they love a country and it is their home, and that they want to live there forever, yet they cannot even put form the smallest amount of effort to learn the language or integrate into society.

going out alone at RCA is just weird!
standing, dancing and drinking alone people will think you are a freak! you not getting any ladies..
It isn't weird. If you have confidence in yourself then you can do it easy. I think people who are so insecure that they can't do anything without their social safety net are weird.
Nobody ever said anything about standing, dancing, and drinking alone.
Seems YOU are the one who isn't getting any ladies.

That doesn't sound all that different from when I was young, dumb and full of cum as an immigrant worker in the US about 20 years ago. The best conquests were always when out with my mates and not really looking for flange. Of course language was never an issue, especially as my Scots brogue was a pretty consistent leg-opener. It sounds like anyone in the age bracket with half decent looks, decently dressed, with a pulse and the ability to converse easily in Thai will score.
Pretty much.

......................One single farang wants to infiltrate a group of thai boys and girls so he can have sex with one of them. Is that the end game................lol. Hilarious! I can see why single guys have a hard time there.
I'm a guy, so yes of course it is Although a few numbers to keep me busy would do fine. What else is the point of clubs?
Of course, it's much better to do that with women and a few drinks but you need to bear in mind that women can smell desperation a mile off. They know when a guy is on the rake cos most of the time, he's trawling around the establishment trying to make eye contact or conversation with every bloody woman there. It looks low-rent and there's few things a decent Thai bird abhors more than a low-rent guy trying to get laid.
In response to HardenedSoul: yes, the best success I've had was when I was not occupied at all with scoring. Was with a group of farang male friends and we were just drinking and dancing and only minding the music, not paying attention to girls. This was a huge draw, as the girls later explained to me. This was in fact at RCA, Slim, but years ago.
Thai women, any woman, know when a guy is on the prowl, and it usually does not work in the guy's favor.
Of course, it is pretty clear from the OP that his main reason is to score. And for many guys, also Thai guys, that is the point of clubs.
It is brave of the OP to go alone. It is very hard with the setup of Thai clubs with the table setting and all to get in contact.
As other have said, it is better to go in small group, even better with Thai guys in that group.
I have been in such a group with Thai guys, and have witnessed the guys 'go to work'.
When we meet I always jokingly call them 'the Masters'.
They call me the handsome farang (their words not mine), but they succeed far more than I could. They know how it works, what to say,
when to say it. I've seen some scanning the place, locking in, and walking to a table, glass in hand, without hesitation.
They don't look exceptionally good, they just know what to say. They are also not dance champions, neither am I.
Dancing between those tables and stools is already a feat in itself.
I've also found that it is very hard to judge whether the Thai guys with the girls are boyfriends or not.
The last thing you want is chat up some Thai guy's girl, especially when they are getting drunk or are already drunk.
That is another reason why you approach the group and win them over first.
As for the "guys on the prowl and more success just dancing" This has nothing to do with the method, and everything to do with your state of mind.
You project confidence and a relaxed attitude when you are not trying to pickup. A lot of guys on the prowl are not 100% confident. Girls sense and react to confidence (or lack there of).
You will get 100x more girls by "being on the prowl" with confident energy, than "dancing with the boys" with confidence.

Seems you have no idea what you are talking about, moron.
Maybe if you spent 1minute reading the thread, you would see he IS THAI
Better to keep your low intellect and useless opinions to yourself in the future.
