i have a similar issue atm but with water, not elec.

my typical monthly water usage is between 150-400baht

last month my water bill was 4500 baht.

try and make sense of that one..

normally water is billed around 18baht a unit, but i was billed 150 <deleted> baht a unit.

Might be moving to Pattaya next month and looking for a long term rental.

Don't really want to spend more than 8000 baht.

Flexible on location, but easy access to central/sukhumvit is preferred.

I've looked online but most websites offering accommodation seem to be directed at holiday stays and sublets, or a much higher price range.

In Bangkok you can find plenty of good condos and apartments for 6-8k a month with a pool.

What can I expect to find in Pattaya?

Any websites you would suggest for searching?

Any specific buildings I should check out?

Had this happen to me cause ballcock not seating properly in toilet system and naturally continuous system refill and overflowing into toilet unnoticed,maybe time to check if the same is happening with yours,if no noticeable water on bathroom floor. got odd job man to replace cost me 300bt thats with him going to hardware store and purchase new ballcock and fitting.

Increased usage = higher cubic metre costs but could be a typo on their part so check this out after initial investigation.

I can't see anything leaking or running. No water on floor or anything. The amount of units used wasn't much higher than a typical month. The main thing was the amount charged per unit. Usually it is 18-35 baht but all the units were charged at 150 baht for that particular month.

I have all my previous bills from last year showing I only use 150-400 each month.

Trying to figure out how to go about rectifying this. Whether I sort it out with my landlord, the condo juristic office where I pay my bill, or the water company itself.

I'm still trying to wrap my head around this.

How the hell can my bill go from 400 baht to 4000? My usage was the same as any other month.

It said I was paying 150 baht a unit, when most bills say I pay 18 baht a unit???????????

Can anyone make sense of this for me.

Thing with the UK police is that they dont spout any evidence off at all and tell all them who have give evidence not to repeat to anyone else at all

As this unfolds we will hear more later if the witness statements {UK} dont match any evidence that the RTP are putting out

one of the best things about thailand and bkk is the affordable and abundant transport. should be a priority to keep it that way.

all I know is that I am never going to piss off any hi-so Thais around Thailand. They are untouchable.

i take tons of short and unnecessary taxi trips because of their abundant availability and low cost.

raise cost or reduce availability and I will no longer jump in taxis just to go around the corner.

is the school legit and were you actually studying every week?

you have to imagine that given the location of where it occurred (small island and not a lot of potential people), that they can hopefully track down who did this.

that is what i hope anyway.
