  1. JamesR7 - "I need help..." You should have stopped there.
  2. "I need help please" You've certainly come to the right place.
  3. Very good series. Bob Odenkirk excellent. Jonathan Banks was stellar throughout.
  4. Earlier this year I was only aware of 1 person I know who had Covid, but in the last few months I'm aware of 5 "1st timers". One was unvaxxed, in the hospital for 10 days, thought she was dying.
  5. I'm assuming Lazada sellers are not keeping their stock in air conditioned storage. But is iHerb?
  6. Just checked 2 supplements vs. iHerb and Lazada. iHerb is charging 9.10 USD Postage, Lazada 1.30. But the items were more expensive at Laz., and the iHerb Grand Total is 2.63 less than Laz. Laz. would get here in a few days, iHerb stating 36 - 48 days. I'm hoping iHerb is just covering themself and it will hopefully arrive in about 10 days...(but I'm prepared to wait).
  7. One USA bank is currently at 2.30% for a standard Savings Account, 4 - 5 more at 2.25 to 2.28%. (2 were offering 2.55% and 2.53% but stopped accepting new applicants).
  8. Who is eligible for a Thai Tax ID card and how does one obtain it?
  9. Which hospital? "The doctor that many of my Thai friends consider to be the best in Chiang Mai did both surgeries a few years apart." And his name is...?
  10. Thai Customs charges no Import Fees if the total cost of the items plus shipping and tax is less than 1500 THB, which currently = $41.48 USD. If the items plus shipping are over 1500 THB, Amazon adds an "Import Fee Deposit" which I find in most cases is over 50% of the value of the items. I have no idea how they are coming up with such insanely high possible Duty fees. I realize they refund uncollected Deposit fees, but it is scary if there is a potential for them to actually collect that high a percentage of cost. Does anyone have a link for the current Import % schedule for Thailand.? I imagine that most fees wouldn't be over 10%. More than 50% - and for non-electronics items - seems crazy, and I suspect it is Amazon for some reason (mis)calculating these high percentages and not the actual Thai Customs fees. I would think that if an Import Fee has already been deposited, then Customs will certainly look at each of those packages and collect (minimally at least whatever their correct fee is). IHerb charges a flat 4 USD postage if the order is over 40 USD. But 44 USD is over the 1500 THB no Import Fee limit. And apparently import of Vitamins is a gray area so I suppose better to keep orders small. (?) Wondering what your experiences have been ordering from either of these companies.
  11. As has been pointed out numerous times, in the vast majority of instances posted, they do not ask for proof of Thai citizenship. If the people look Asian, they get the normal price. If they are non-Asian in appearance, they get the overcharge. That is racist by definition - charging 2 prices determined by race.
  12. "...iherb recommends to keep each order's total cost to be no more than $50." Is that in print on their site? Can you post a link to it?
  13. "...along with any age people with any of 8 specified chronic health conditions." I don't have Facebook access - can you list the 8 diseases please.

  16. Do they interrupt the show with ads?
  17. OP - Did you call or email the hotel for a quote? If not, do so and ask them to beat the Agoda price. Don't just use the advertised rate for comparison.
  18. Are smoke detectors required in schools at all? In each classroom?
  19. Yes, just doublechecked. Unlimited 15 minute calls to any network. Very helpful, thanks again!
  20. Turns out the DTAC code is still good. Thank you!
