  1. Yeah for sure gotta grind for joints but grinding for pipes and bongs is popular here.
  2. In my experience, throughout all my years of smoking in the USA and Canada, we would always smoke whole flowers. However, here in Thailand, the people I have interacted with grind it up. Whether it's a bong or a pipe, it's always ground up. Personally, I don't like it because I feel like a lot is wasted, especially in a bong where it can get sucked through into the water before it's burnt. In the US, we would always load the whole flower and savor the first hit of the greens. What do you all think, and do your peers in your country grind it up?
  3. Talked to Thai owner in Kao Sahn area after the election. Asked him if he was worried or if they gonna shut down change the law. He told me they won't close down shops in certain tourist areas with those areas safe for smoking and buying. He was super confident that he won't be affected in any way because of zoning.
  4. Thank you so much Ubon Joe for all the years helping all of us!
  5. This actually works! Our shop in the south of Thailand had dogs using the alley in front of my door as a toilet. Every morning, they would come by and leave me a nasty surprise. However, after reading about the Chili technique online, I bought some chili powder and chili flakes (like the kind you put on pizza) and spread it on the ground in front of my door. Since then, I've never had a problem with the dogs, and I haven't seen them even stop to sniff there. It worked for me and is worth a try!
  6. Ah yes my mistake. I have experience at Ban Laem and Ban Packard. Those crossings are no questions asked 3000 baht with someone to take u.
  7. Yes the desk on the Thai side. I did make a mistake though as I have not been to Poipet in some time and I hear it's a bit different then the more quiet crossings. The other 2 border crossings Ban Pakard and Ban Laem as I had experience there.
  8. It's better to just pay the visa service fee at the desk. The 2000 to 3000 baht gives you a stamp on both sides with no questions asked. The guy walks you to both sides and its easy. Way better than getting stuck in Cambodia and spending more to get back.
  9. How were you informed of visit? I just went through changing visa type in Bkk to marriage and last week just finished second round to extend for a year. Now under consideration for the second time in 3 months and no visit.
  10. I've been in this situation multiple times. All you have to do is call the resort and tell them immigration needs a tm30 confirmation or letter. The hotel will then email you the letter or proof of Tm30. It takes the hotel a few minutes to do this. You then just show the email to immigration officer.
  11. Do any of you live in a high-rise building and smoke? Do you smoke in your room, bathroom, or balcony? Do you have any suggestions for controlling the odor when smoking inside? My building's got good ventilation, but I still catch a waft of cooking every now and then, and it's always a concern for me. I do my best to keep the smoke contained, but it's gone pretty fast. Maybe everyone's just <deleted> off not knowing where it's coming from.
  12. I got covid two months ago... I got super dizzy , fatigue , runny stuffy nose, loss of smell. It was pretty bad like a flu but no throat or breathing problems. The fatigue has improved with excercise and in just the last three weeks has gone away. I took ginseng and coffee mixed wich seemed to help. I had some nausea and dizzy spells that would come and go but went away after 3 weeks negative. My smell is still not 100% but has greatly improved. I lost it for a while and it slowly is coming back daily.. I finally smelled one of my farts and a tear came to my eye. Long covid sucks and it took a while to feel better. I think running and excercise helped me greatly.
  13. The best Martial art for your age would be Brazilian Jiu Jitsu BJJ. It is low Impact and does not require feets of strength. It is one of the few martialat arts that you actually have a chance of taking out someone bigger than you. This has been proven time and time again with BJJ on the streets and in the ring. The first thing you learn is usually a submission that you actually get to practice sparring with on your first day.
  14. Drove here yesterday Sun sep 18th and was super easy. US passport and on covid extensions since the start 2 years. Paid the 2700 at the desk after stamping out and the staff took care of the rest. They walked me to Cambodia got stamped by a friendly IO and then returned. Thai side was super easy. IO smiled at me and stamped the passport with no questions asked. Great easy border that takes care of you with the visa service available there.
  15. Not a statement ... I don't have any opinion on time served or where. I want to know. In USA we have different levels of prison low to max and it seems that the rich and famous go to the low security facilities. These facilities are known to be easier on the person. So I honestly am wondering if she is in a real jail or a low security facility where you can get anything you want.
  16. Thailand does supply military aid in past conflicts. During Vietnam About 40,000 Thai military would serve in South Vietnam, with 351 killed in action and 1,358 wounded. One agreement with the USA during this was being paid $50‐million a year for sending a combat division to South Vietnam. The United States also agreed to increase its military assistance by $30‐million for two years and to supply Thailand with a battery of Hawk antiaircraft missiles. Also during the Korean War Thailand was one of the first countries to support sending battle ships and 21st Infantry Regiment, Queen's Guard. they were involved in pork chop hill and the third battle of soul.
  17. Ok .... but law says you can. That's all I wanted to know. I see what I see and see people walking with beers everynight.
  18. Many everynight. Mostly Thais with their big leo bottles. Not only walking but sitting in front of 711 on the curb in front of lotus etc. It's super common here in BKK. I'm surprised if you have not seen all the people drinking beer in the open.
  19. Wait, I walk down the street of Bkk with a Leo beer often. Almost daily...... It's illegal?
  20. This looks legit fire and for 50 per 1g this is the best deal I have seen. The high lasts for how long? Thanks for posting.
  21. Microdosing is now being used by a lot of UFC and Muay Thai fighters. Coders in the Big Tech world have reported gaining great benefits from microdosing shrooms.
  22. Yeah the guy burning in his underwear just walks through the middle and no one helps. I see a lot of running back and forth not knowing what to do. There is one Hero running back to help pulling off his shirt in his underwear. There was too many people on fire. The only thing they could have done is take off Their clothes and try and smother flames. Is Stop drop and roll taught in Thailand? More training and fire safety for all clubs. Terrible situation.
  23. I'm not so sure about fear of helping here in Thailand because ive seen many accidents and also a shooting. In these situations Ive seen Thais helping immediately. Maybe my judgment is to harsh about this fire. It would be hard to help without getting burned and without a source of water. The fear, adrenaline , explosions , raging fire, flight response , etc., everyone acts differently in these situations.
  24. I got something else to say that pisses me off. If you watch the vid I mentioned people ate literally running out on fire Laying on the ground on fire and no one is helping them. There are many people filming and walking around while people on fire and burning. The Thais in the comments seem upset about this too.
