They really won't because they are not stupid and would rather keep Russia in onside than make another enemy. Particuarly so since the west is rattling it's diminshed sabres at the Rising Dragon. Lest we forget the UK has virtually mothballed an aircraft carriet because it can't get the staff and the 5 billion Ajax tank still isn't in service. Something to do with shaking the occupants too much. You really couldn't make this stuff up but Starmer likes the khaki and posing with Macron whilst meanwhile thousands of muslim men land every week and are put up in 4 star hotels.

If it was Russia I'm not sure the powers that be would admit it. One to prevent panic and secondly because of what it would presage. It would be a warning of the chaos that would ensue if a hot war broke out. Starmer et al would be wise to take note if that was the case. This is not 1939 - the interconnectivity of modern societies and the rapid flow of information and misinformation would be a vertitable descent into soceital madness.

Richard Tice on GBNEWS balming it on net zero - but Reform take the Putin roubles so make of that what you will.

Even if it was Russia, which is doubtful then that should be a lesson to keep out of Russian business in their backyard less we should be dragged into an unwinnable war which will ruin us all.

He has been exposed as a clout chasher and pornographer married to a Ukrainian.

If it was the Russians which it isn't all the more reason for Britain to crank down the rhetoric - they are winning ! It also has all the hallmarks of an accidental electrical fire, but sure, let's jump to Russians crawling through the Channel Tunnel to set fire to a random substation in outer London. is it possible it's Russian sabotage? Yes. Is it likely it's Russian sabotage? Not particularly. "Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity [or accident, non-Russia related arson, mechanical failure etc in this case]," Is it definitely Russian sabotage? Categorically no. We will obviously have to wait for the results of the London Fire Brigade's investigation to say if it was deliberate or not, and then, if it is deliberate, presumably for an MI5/MI6/SO-15 investigation to determine if it has anything to do with Russia.

Assess the risks and proceed accordingly. In my analogy, you're fighting a just cause with the manager while six Thais beat you senseless, escalating the situation further. If you spend years trolling your neighbor, believing the deceptive words of distant suitors, and basing your nationalism on hatred for your past and fellow Slavs, don't be surprised when the rest of the world refuses to start World War III to rescue you.

Aye and if we go down that rabbit hole it would be more likely to be a Ukrainian false flag - cui bono ?

Source for that or are you just spreading unsubstantiated rumours ?

You find yourself in a seedy Thai bar. The night is over, and the owner—flanked by his enforcers—presents you with a bill so outrageously inflated it borders on the absurd. Do you stand your ground, demanding justice, or do you pay up and slip into the night, knowing the fight was lost before it began? Any seasoned traveler knows the truth—it’s a scam, plain and simple. But wisdom reminds you that some battles can’t be won, especially when your wealthier friends have long since vanished into the shadows. A million lives have been lost or shattered on both sides—and for what? No one is better off than when it all began. The facts are stark, and the consequences undeniable. This isn’t theatre; it’s Slavic reality. And yes, he, along with Putin, has blood on his hands. He entered the stage as a comedian; he exits in a tragedy. In 1944, at Yalta, Churchill, Roosevelt, and Stalin carved up Europe, condemning the East to its fate under a genocidal tyrant. Such is the destiny of small nations—pawns in the Great Game, subject to the whims of empires far beyond their control. He should have taken the ride.

Mr Witkoff respectfully disgagees and she is in the coalition of the unwilling. But apart from that spot on. Trump and Putin had an 'epic' 3 hour call let's all celebrate that peace is coming and not before time. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/videos/2025-03-19/witkoff-on-trump-putin-call-likely-meeting-video -

It will never happen and that's why blowhard Starmer feels able to punt it along with Macron so thay can appear strong without having the pay the price. -

The coalition of the willing starts to get some replies of 'sorry' from the unwilling. Italy has confirmed that it has no plans to engage in a military mission in Ukraine to support a potential peace agreement with Russia. https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2025/03/15/7503055/ -

Ex US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul: Trump is giving Putin everything he wants Read more: https://www.delfi.lt/en/politics/amb-michael-mcfaul-trump-is-giving-putin-everything-he-wants-120095057 I think that President Trump actually does not care about enduring peace in Ukraine. What he really cares about is fostering a new relationship with Vladimir Putin, just like he did when he was president the first time around. So restoring relations with Russia, I think is actually the first objective and peace in Ukraine is a second or tertiary objective. -

Opinion - Sadly, Trump is right on Ukraine- THE HILL https://www.yahoo.com/news/opinion-sadly-trump-ukraine-200000471.html?guccounter=1 The basic outlines of a deal to end the fighting are obvious even if details remain to be negotiated, as Trump and Putin started doing today in a phone call. Russia will continue to occupy Crimea and other portions of the southeast, while the rest of Ukraine will not join NATO but will get security guarantees from some western countries. The sad thing is that such a plan could have been achieved at least two years ago if only President Biden had made military aid conditional on Zelensky negotiating a ceasefire. -

They really want Zelenskiy gone. Trump Jr, Witkoff, Carlson involved in secret talks with Zelensky's rivals, Politico reports - Kyiv Independent https://kyivindependent.com/trump-jr-witkoff-tucker-carlson-involved-in-backchannel-talks-with-zelenskys-rivals-politico-reports/ -
I love History Legends he has been bang on the money from the start and his in-depth analysis and curation of social media clips is second to none. The Russians pipeline coup in which they ambushed the Ukrainians behind their lines and pulled off an audacious and daring combined arms assualt just goes to show that when they get their act together they are a deadly force to be reckoned with. You don't poke the bear and those that refuse to acknowldge it are condemned to repeat the mistakes of those that previously did.
