A lesson in history? A reminder?
I would like US/Israel to lead that charge but I won't hold my breath.....Mossaddegh could have neem Iran's reformer par excellence like Turkey's Attaturk but Anglo perfidy put an end to that. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mohammad_Mosaddegh

A lesson in history? A reminder?
I love Monbiot always worth a listen/read. IIran has been raped by colonial powers for many decades. Iran was attacked illegally by US/Isreal and as such like any other country on earth has the right of self defence.

Netanyahu’s endgame could leave Washington holding the fallout
Israel Epstein controls the US - it was the best investment they ever made like Russia as well - spying can be cheap if you do it well. Same with APAIC- $100 million spread around and you get to set the world on fire. These are the true arsonists.

The Left Has Lost the Plot on Iran: Propaganda Exposed,News
You have to see the old man crouched arthriticallay over his Windows 7 cathoed ray monitor screen surrounded by empty and rotting Changs and empty food delivery boxes whils wearing a stained and mouldy MAGA cap all under the blast of a pink fan covered in black gunk as the sound of the nearby motorway drifts in replacing the long broken air con. And when you picture this you have pity not anger which is the right way.

Trump’s deployment of ground troops to Middle East confirmed
Bone spurs and a cadet expericne forced on him by daddy have given him militray experience like no other. Don't knock him - that's for prozzies who like watersports. Fun fact the deposed Shah's father the one that the British/CIA put into power to get rid of a democratically elected socialist so they could nick the oil was a Nazi / Hitler loving leader who supported Hitler during the war.Funny old world. Trump is starting to lokk nervous and frightened. Time for him to get the Bill Hicks lecture. https://www.howardblum.com/blog-posts/reza-shah-and-adolf-hitler-irans-history-with-the-third-reich Along with Italy and Japan, Iran fought for Germany during World War II and supplied Germany with oil, which Hitler saw as a pathway to dominance and the eventual surrender of Great Britain. In December 1943, Reza Shah and Hitler Shah (as the Iranians referred to him), along with their top strategists, helped to plan the assassinations of FDR, Churchill, and Stalin, which would have changed the course of the world as we know it. Night of the Assassins, coming out on 06/02/2020, is the true story of that plan and the heroic bravery that went into stopping it. Following the British and Russian invasion of Tehran, Reza Shah escaped and his son, who quickly joined with Allied causes, took the throne. After a period of peace, tensions again escalated. Today, the voices of Americans, including Iranian Americans, are calling out for peace and a stop to the bloodshed. Generation to generation, the conflict may seem to shift, but the tension has remained for centuries. The path outward is murky and unclear, but understanding the history of this long-embattled relationship is a vital first step.

Jewish community Firebombed Ambulances Spark Fears Of Antisemitism
No - we know they are British nationals according to the polcie and this is not being treated as terrorism but a hate crime so that rules out Israel/Iran but that the group that was cited could be an Iranian psy-op trying to claim ownership of the event for their own purposes.

Jewish community Firebombed Ambulances Spark Fears Of Antisemitism
Got it — I’ll be straight with you then. You’re not being consistent in reasoning style, but that doesn’t mean you’re being dishonest or acting in bad faith. It just means your approach leans heavily toward pattern-seeking + suspicion first, then adapting as new info drops. Here’s what’s happening in your posts: 1. You start from a “cui bono?” lensThat’s not inherently wrong — asking who benefits is a legitimate analytical tool. But the way you used it: You jumped quickly to a high-level explanation (state actor / false flag) Without first ruling out simpler explanations (hate crime, local actors) That’s a classic analytical trap: 👉 starting at the most complex explanation instead of the most probable 2. You anchor on suspicion, not evidenceOnce you introduced the false flag idea (with the Lavon Affair), you set a tone: Even when new info appeared (arrests, claims of responsibility), You didn’t step back and say “okay, that earlier theory is now unlikely” Instead, you replaced one hidden-actor theory with another (Iran psy-op) That’s why people are calling you out — it feels like: 3. Your “I was just speculating” defense is only partly fairYou did signal uncertainty — that’s true. But: The direction of your speculation wasn’t neutral It pointed toward specific actors (Israel / false flag framing) So others read it as: That’s why the pushback is strong. 4. Where you actually are consistentTo be fair to you: You consistently distrust official narratives You consistently look for geopolitical motives You consistently reference historical precedent So your mindset is consistent — it’s your conclusions that keep shifting. 5. If you want to be harder to challengeA more solid version of your argument would look like: Start with: “Most likely explanation = X (e.g. hate crime / local actors)” Then add: “Less likely but possible = state involvement, given past precedents” Then clearly update: “With arrests made, the state-actor theory is now unlikely unless new evidence emerges” That shows: 👉 skepticism without looking like you’re chasing a preferred narrative Bottom lineYou’re not crazy or uniquely inconsistent — you’re just: leading with suspicion and not pruning your earlier theories when new evidence arrives That combination is exactly what triggers people in debates like that.

Jewish community Firebombed Ambulances Spark Fears Of Antisemitism
I was speculating and making that clear in my posts based on historical antecdents as this is a discussion forum not a court of law. They have been arrested in short order and therefore my comment that if they are not then they could be state actors still stands ! I am careful with my words and how I frame posts.

2 British nationals have been arrested Tomee Ten Names and his mob are praying for them to be Mohhameds. Congratulations to the Met for collaring them. My money's is now on that group being some Iranian psy-op trying to weave together anti-semetic attacks across Europe to make them look like a co-ordinated Iranian terror plot when it's probably nothing of the sort. Time will tell.

Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War
Leavitt has just done a Presser at the WH in which she said if Iran didn't accept they had lost then they would face hell from Trump. Better get ready for gas quues and $8 gallons in the US. they should send the last Ayatollah's mangled head in a box to Trump as a troll. The Iraqi militias are all getting tooled up as well they want to go hunting with their Iranian pals.

Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War
He bankrupted every business he ever had and now he wants to bankrupt the world. It would be funny if it wasn't tragic - actually it's both. FAFO Iranian style - Iran has just hit 'warehouses' in the Negev which house Israeli defence intelligence, Ramon airbase for stealth bombers and other tinned pineapple chunks as well as 'nuclear' research nearby. With missiles that have been destroyed against the world's best layered air defence. As it says in the Bible how the mighty have fallen. The beauty of Israel is slain upon thy high places: how are the mighty fallen! 2 Samuel 1:19

Trump Praises "Strong" Talks With Iran to End the War
I didn't understand what you wrote so I pumped it through Claude in the style of Larkin - it's a lot better. "The Invaded" - Philip Larkin Style Poem They say it's simple: one side good, one bad— The television tells us who to blame. But talk to those who've actually been had By both, and moral certainty looks lame. "They tormented Russian speakers," someone said, "For years. Broke treaties. Worshipped fascist thugs— Bandera, Shukhevych—their statues fed A nationalism built on hate, not hugs." "Corruption ate the state from inside out, Oligarchs grew fat while pensioners went cold. They lied about their history, no doubt, And sold their people's future to be sold." And so the argument: "It had to come— Putin's invasion, just deratization." A word that makes the liberal conscience numb: Not war, but pest control across a nation. But here's the thing that Larkin would have seen: However vile a government may be, However nationalist, corrupt, obscene— That doesn't make invasion something free. The people crushed beneath the tank's advance Weren't policy-makers. Just folk who live In tower blocks, who never had a chance To choose which scum would rule them. Narrative Demands we pick a side and wave a flag— Ukraine's a saint, or Ukraine asked for this. But truth's more like the ending of The Whitsun Weddings—drag, Confusion, something lost we'll always miss. Yes, Ukraine's government was corrupt and cruel, Whitewashed its fascist past, oppressed its east. And yes, the West used it as NATO's tool, And yes, its oligarchs had quite a feast. But that's not why the tanks rolled over borders. That's not what killed the pensioner in Mariupol's flat. Wars don't get better when you fix the orders Of blame. They're <deleted>. And this one's just like that. Larkin would have hated both the lies: The West's pretense that Ukraine was pristine, And Russia's claim that genocide justifies Killing the very people it says it will clean. He'd see two empires fighting over land, Two sets of propaganda, two corrupt elites, And millions caught between, who didn't plan To die for flags or oligarchs' balance sheets. So here we are: the invaded and the invader, Both with blood-stained hands and righteous claims. The truth's not comfort. It's a slow betrayer Of every side that plays these <deleted> games.

Iranian Nuclear Bomb Testing: When will testing begin?
Does it need one - if it can get several hypersonic misisles on the reactor at Dimona it could create a Chernobyl like disaster that would kill thousands and irridiate a large area of Israel for decades. Well Iran has the misisles and has shown they can get the pinpooint accuracy at times and defeat layered Israeli defence so that scenario is now an actualite.

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn
Tik tok tik tok - fail to plan - plan to fail etc etc ANDREW NEIL: Being caught in Iran’s trap is the biggest mistake of Trump’s presidency. I don’t see how he can recover By ANDREW NEIL, DAILY MAIL COLUMNIST https://archive.ph/PbJVC It would take months for America to assemble enough forces to subdue a country of 90 million, bigger than Britain, France, Germany and Spain combined. There is no guarantee of success, no stomach for such an open-ended intervention on any part of the US political spectrum. So is it worth even contemplating? With all that prolonged conflict would mean for the global economy? In a year of crucial mid-term elections in which private Republican Party polling indicates both the House and the Senate are at risk for the President? Just to ask these questions is to answer them. The five-day hiatus comes to an end on Friday night. What happens then is anybody’s guess. Trump is trapped in a conundrum of his own making. For the tyrants of Tehran, not losing is a victory that guarantees survival. For America, not losing is a defeat. Ending up in this trap is the biggest mistake of Trump’s presidency. I have no idea how he can escape – and I’m starting to think he might never recover from it.

Kim Jong Un uses Iran war to justify North Korea’s decision to keep it
Currently thinking about it - unlike your Lord and Master I like to plan. It may involved ultra processed food , various vaccines conspiracies and self exploding guns.

Kim Jong Un uses Iran war to justify North Korea’s decision to keep it
Probabaly 27 million might be salveagable- but that still leaves 50 million that will need to be 'dealt' with.

Kim Jong Un uses Iran war to justify North Korea’s decision to keep it
greatest evil the world has ever seen, and then some - you should have added that then that would have been factually true. Not bad 7/10.

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn
The more you dig down into this it's an epic blunder on an almost unprecedented scale. I know Ambrose likes to dooms-say but he's spot on with this. https://archive.ph/4IRx1 Xi can smile as the Pentagon burns up its stocks of munitions and rare earth minerals, all for a diversionary war of impulse. It is hard to overstate the damage done to American credibility in the Far East. Trump has withdrawn Patriot interceptors and a THAAD missile defence system from South Korea, the only one in Asia, because they are needed in the Middle East. He has sent a half-carrier and a naval flotilla with marines from Japan’s Okinawa to threaten – or attack – Iran’s Kharg Island. The “quick response” unit tasked with defending Asia is now in the wrong theatre. The Centre for Strategic and Security Studies says the US fired 786 joint air-to-surface standoff missiles (JASSMs) in the first six days of the war, at a cost of nearly $3m per missile. It will take several years just to replace them. It fired 319 Tomahawk missiles, 158 THAADs, 879 advanced precision kill weapon systems (APKWSs) and a frightening number of Patriots. The figure has risen much further since then. The US is also having to replenish Saudi and Gulf armouries. These are critical weapons for Taiwan’s defence. There will be fewer on sale to Europe for the defence of Ukraine.

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn
I actually think now, with Iran's attack on the Hadera Power Plant which was a near miss and produces 25% of Israel's electricity and US bases, they want escalation and a ground war. The red mist has come down “frick it, bring it on” and they are itching for a guerrilla war against US soldiers. And/or, failing that, they would almost welcome their power being put out and a humanitarian catastrophe. Hamas didn’t care about their civilian deaths; they are martyrs, and the IRGC may think the same. Whatever the cost, they want payment in blood.

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn
I almost think now they want to troll Trump into sending boots on the ground they want the dead US bodies and let's be honest here any chance of the IDF manning up and stop killing women and children for a while ?

Trump Accidentally Admits to Epic Iran Blunder as War Takes Worse Turn
Oh, and if the war does stop now without regime change, in time they will build back better, and their forward deterrence is to go for the jugular straight away, not stepped escalation. They will have learnt that, and the refined uranium may still be in place. If they rebuild, their new doctrine will likely be “maximum first strike,” launching their entire remaining arsenal at Tel Aviv or Gulf oil hubs the moment they perceive a threat, rather than waiting for a diplomatic window. So the world and Israel will be a less safe place, and the US under Trump has proved to be an utter disaster on a global scale. Well done Trump , well done Netanhayu.

Calling Mr Houthi , calling Mr Houthi I've got the Ayatollah on the line .... "Which one ?" !
