These people can barely speak English, and they get a job teaching English at a university
Something in the package you presented was inferior to the package of the chosen candidate... maybe your salary request, but given your mail, it might just be your attitude...

Try again in 1 hour. They are RIGHT NOW updating the app with the new entry rules
-
It's been widely reported that because of the new rules, arrivals for May can only be done starting 29th of April, obviously this app can not handle changing rules...

Think about the massive longterm benefits like health and savings and ignore the current "side effects "

Yes, normal, your lungs are cleaning all the bad stuff out. Happened to me too, 6 years ago now.

Could I access to an internation school with this salary?
There are private schools with English programs, like Satit Udomseuska in Pattaya, where terms are less than 150K, therefore affordable with your salary. Those are still better than Thai schools, but of course second to "real" international schools with international programs and tests

The allegations relate to videos of my ex wife which she has seen after accessing my tablet. I had to hold onto these videos to obtain leverage against my ex wife
Doesn't matter much.. your now ex gf threatens you online and makes wrong allegations. Take a lawyer, report her to the police, use the defamation laws against everything she put online, because she is trying to ruin your reputation.
Don't be the sheep, be the lion

The thing with police works both ways:
Take a lawyer, go with him to the police, and make a report about your wife cheating on you, threatening you and making false allegations against you!
Since - according to you - your wife has no proofs, because her allegations are false she will withdraw them pretty fast.

You are right... one can do... as the OP did... if you don't care whether the comparison makes any sense

@Troy Tempest: Just seen your post. If you travel to Pattaya after Songkran, you might want to check out these two places, which I both used to fix HP laptop issues (new battery, replace HDD with SSD):
- Wattana Systemation on Pattaya Klang (opposite Foodland), they will order parts for you (i.e. an original HP battery for my laptop), but you might have to wait few weeks. Might give you a second excuse for travel
- JIB Computer in Tukcom Pattaya might not have original parts, but they DO offer very good service, I used them many times, last time to change an HDD to SSD, was waiting 2 hours downstairs in Starbucks.

You can NOT compare prices in Thailand with prices in the US.

The "influx of foreign tourists" this year did NOT not happen because water splashing was not allowed... it did not happen because of the entry restrictions that still exist when travelling to Thailand. Only if those entry restrictions are completely gone - at least gone for all vaccinated tourists - THEN the influx of foreign tourists might happen again, and THEN the question about what impact water splashing rules have on tourist numbers can be asked.

OP: If you have the address on paper, then you can use the "enlarge/reduce" or "zoom" function that most printers have available under "options".
If you do not find this option, make a scan of the paper to your computer and then use one of the options that were explained by the other posters, OR use a snipping tool on your computer to cut out the address, copy it into a word document (use landscape for the page orientation), enlarge it there (just click and draw on a handle point in the corner) and print the document, done.

I am afraid, @Bakwan, if you do not have online banking for both accounts (or at least for the EUR account), you won't be able to do any transfer from where you are now. Also, the above mentioned idea of calling would fail completely, as the bank staff would have no whatsoever possibility to identify you in a way that would allow them to make transactions on your behalf.
The only option I see is this: You need a trusted person in Thailand. You will send this person the bank books and a "Power of Attorney" letter that clearly outlines, what kind of transaction this person is allowed to do with your bank books. Your signature on the PoA letter needs to be verified / certified by witnesses and of course everything in English.
Then maybe - just maybe - the bank will agree to the transaction outlined in the PoA letter.

Yes.. but is is normal here (and also to tell you the truth, abroad I always give a 'reward" if anyone really leads to a sale)..
Do you live in Whale condo ?
For us there is no 'physical" manager in the condo, so no manager to help for the saleHave a nice day
I would recommend Paragon Properties Pattaya. They are very active and I see how many sales they do, and I actually got my house through them. It is a long established company with a record they can prove. There office is near the corner Theprasit road /Jomtien beach road.
That said... I don't know whether they will be interested in your object, it depends of course on the quality of what you want to sell. If I browse through real estate websites, there are thousands of condos of the same quality / price, so a real estate agent might already have hundreds of them in his portfolio, and at present, it is not a market with thousands of buyers. Quality objects - even at high prices - will sell quite easily, but the common of-the-shelf condo might have a long shelf time...

Funniest post ever... Thailand and noise maps... bike noise, bar noise, loud music noise, car exhaust modification noise... all much worse and annoying than airplanes.
And... what you need when you think about relocating are burn maps and flooding maps, those are the key things you need to know

I had your problem last year. After six month of investigation and ripped open walls (fol sule, mister, leak is thele, 100 plocent...), I decided to go with complete repiping, pipes around the house, directly inside the wet rooms, added warm water pipes at the same time, added separate stoppers for each junction
Haven't found anything and anybody in Thailand, who is fit for finding and fixing underground leaks.

Few answers:
- flooding, you should actually easily see on the outside walls of the building, flooding normally leaves marks. My main question would be, whether the house / the land it is built on is elevated towards the surrounding area, i.e. rice fields around it- water: where does it come from, does the house eventually have a well, is there a large enough tank in case of water outage?
- electricity: out in the sticks, you will not be the first priority of PEA in case of outage. Therefore, solar panels or a backup generator would be advisable.
