  1. Official BYD Finance - just sent to me by the dealer
  2. BYD Seal Live Streaming https://www.facebook.com/BYDReverThailandOfficial

  4. Sorry to hear that your ordered model isn’t available. I noticed that as well. Did you work out how to change regen levels? It wasn’t obvious and the girl knew less about the car than I did.
  5. I am at Buriram BYD just test drove the premium @ 5.9 secs 0-100 plenty fast enough. Love the cooled and ventilated seats. Didn’t notice the glass roof being too hot. “Hi BYD - increase fan speed” worked first time. The sales girl was very impressed. MG is in Thai! I didn’t like the blue interior I saw at the BKK show, the black with white stitching looks classy. HUD is great. Drives great very impressed want to buy one. Like the way the driver seat move back when you open the door. White colour really sparkles and unlike Tesla it doesn’t cost an extra 50,000 Baht Prices released at 6pm today Tesla Model 3 owner turned up to do a trade in
  6. Nice find but it looks like a converted ICE Truck - think I’ll hold out for a ground up EV - much more elegant solution.
  7. My current car does 0-100k/h in 6.9 seconds and that is plenty fast enough to get away from coal rolling pickup trucks so for sure 5.9 seconds 0-100 would be fine for me.

  9. I am happy to have an intelligent conversation about EVs, but I find myself as an EV owner here in Thailand having to fact check almost everything that is posted by people that don’t own EVs here. It might sound like EV owners are not prepared to consider the downside of EVs but on the flip side I rarely hear anything sensible said by non EV owners. @OneMoreFarang maybe you can prove me wrong. Is owning an EV as easy as owning an ICE car? No it’s not, when you fill up you can pay with cash and the staff will take care of everything. Public EV charging requires an app and there is nobody there to hold your hand - this is just too hard for some folk. This is a post I made on my EVs in Thailand discussion over a year ago
  10. @pgrahmm - you have been asked twice to post these videos showing EVs only having 20% of initial indicated available range. You are clearly happy to make stuff up and think people will believe you - very sad
  11. You can see from my profile picture, that I am not worried about parking my EV close to my house. I also have 36kWh of LFP batteries in my mechanical room a few meters from where I sleep.
  12. I didn’t know he was selling EVs now. His videos normally get trotted out when anybody wants to bash EVs
  13. Post a video of his to support that statement. Unlike you I own an EV - I have done my research.
  14. If you are going to post sweeping statements like this without any supporting research nobody is going to take what you say seriously. An anti EV YouTuber is not supporting research https://www.kbb.com/car-news/study-electric-vehicles-involved-in-fewest-car-fires/
  15. BYD Seal or Tesla Model 3? You can buy new shape in Australia but not in Thailand
  16. The video is 10 months old - anything could have happened in the meantime, but I agree LFP for me
  17. I wonder if they will be bringing the $103,000 Hydrogen fuel cell version ????
  18. Can you share the videos? I’ve done a search and can’t find any videos of an EV only having 20% of initial indicated available range
