    You can get your re-entry permit at immigration in Phuket City , they have a dedicated desk for the re-entry permit , so even though the office may be extremely busy very few are there for re-entry , so the wait is negligible. I went there 2 weeks ago at the busiest period and as soon as I received my numbered ticket it came up on the screen..

    I believe that the overstayers referred to had existing arrest warrants for crimes committed in Thailand and were detained in order to face those charges..

    Thanks for this info , will certainly pay a visit to the fish market , but will have to wait some time before doing so as we just did a shopping trip to Costco yesterday and filled the fridge & freezer up..👍

    I have arrived in Otaru , Hokkaido , Japan yesterday from Phuket , today is a National holiday , there are many people out in the parks and hiking on the trails as the weather is glorious and the trees are a multiple of colours as the leaves begin to fall. You need to ditch the books and venture outdoors if you wish to meet your dream companion..Good Luck.

    There is only one way to guarantee that you get a proper English breakfast is to do it yourself. ensuring that you have control over the quality of the ingredients , real bacon and sausages , black pudding , Heinz baked beans , free range eggs and proper bread , yes a bit more work , but at least you get consistency , only downside is the washing up.

    I have a 90 day single entry non-O visa issued at Savannakhet on 19th Sept. 2023 and valid until 18th Dec. 2023 I need to travel to Japan for 3 weeks in November. Can I purchase a re-entry permit at the airport (BKK) and use the remainder of this visa on my return to Thailand.?
