  1. 'splain, please...
  2. There's entire blocks of gun shops around Siam Plaza near BKK Chinatown. Or is it Old Siam Plaza?
  3. Speaking of legal victories... Remember this idiot singing gem? FOX News Scores Major Legal Victory Against Former ‘Disinformation Czar’ Nina Jankowicz Jankowicz sued FOX News, singling out a handful of hosts who criticized her on the air. Jankowicz claimed it was defamation. Now a judge has thrown out her case, in a major win for FOX and a big blow for Jankowicz. https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2024/07/fox-news-scores-major-legal-victory-against-former/
  4. Did anyone actually vote for her? Real voters, I mean. Not donors and Dem elites... Who's the real threat to democracy?
  5. Nobody's going to choose HRC as their VP running mate. Not if they want to survive their term. Ask Obama why he didn't make that "obvious choice" to choose Hillary...
  6. The guy had just come within an inch of being shot in the head. Standing with fist raised, shouting "Fight, fight, fight" confirms Dana White's assessment: Toughest, most resilient man he's ever met. That's gonna be a meme for years. Then a collectors item.
  7. I'm loving the Xiaomi SU7's that have recently started cruising the streets where l live in China. Here's the prototype of the upgraded model. Gorgeous cars, even the base model. Apparently priced like a Chevy Bolt, if the articles are true. Edit: Oops. 8. I'll bet that sounded better in your head...
  9. Good God. Back in her 30's Mom used to yell at one of us kids, calling us another one's name. Sometimes, she'd rattle off 2 or 3 names before she landed on the right one. Strangely, she never vapor locked during a conversation.
  10. Hundreds of millions of $$ in mysterious donations can't possibly mean anything nefarious is happening, right? Looks to me like the fix is in. The Dem elite are dumping so much money on Harris because they know it can't be diverted to another candidate that the voters may prefer. It will be interesting, since some Dems want to be shed of Harris. Could be a civil war in the party. That's just one small step away from the coup they just had. But you only hear that if you read alternative news sources. For the MSM, it's nothing but rainbows and pink ponies in the DNC.
  11. I have never understood the premium pricing model for the Minis or the Smart Cars.
  12. I think that's a bit of a red herring. Part of the reason they're depreciating is that the technology is coming along so rapidly, and the cost of manufacturing is coming down. So this year, you can get a better car, for less money than last year. That's hardly bad news for the EV market. It may be bad news for early adopters, who may (or may not) have been willing to spend more money to be on the bleeding edge. But it was the same with solar, and with computers and with microwaves and with big screen TV's and...and... I feel for the buyers who got caught in the hype, not realizing they were buying an 80386 when the Intel I7s were just a few years away. Or paid $5,000 for a 50" flat screen TV. Which may have seemed like a bargain at the time.
  13. The polls were conducted using the anal extraction method. They pulled numbers out of their butts, weeks ago when they launched the coup.
  14. It's not so difficult, if you take the vote in the Obama mansion in an invitation only meeting.
  15. Funny how she amassed enough delegates to secure the nomination, when not a single vote was cast for her. So who's the threat to democracy?
  16. No new wars. But there were mean tweets. Lefties seem to think hurt feelings are even worse than wars.
  17. It's being described as a soft coup from the inside. And that's probably a fair characterization.
  18. Anyone else pondering the irony that it was Biden's own hubris that doomed him? Had he not challenged Trump to the debate, he'd still be in his basement campaigning. Rookie error. From a 50 year veteran. I guess he just couldn't help himself.
  19. I was pretty happy with his first 4 years.
  20. I'm standing in solidarity with the guy that called an idiot an idiot. But if it's a black idiot, a Jewish idiot, or an LGBT idiot, the race card or the anti- Semitic card or the other phobia card comes out, to enforce compliance. Or else...
  21. The tats, I'm ambivalent. But what's with the huge lips that seem so popular? There's hundreds of female influencers, and they all have the same ugly lips.
  22. Apparently, they don't know anything. They just tell you to ask the FBI. They're the Sgt Schultz of alphabet agencies. Edit: I remember when they were two of the most respected agencies in the world. It's sad.
  23. You figure Biden selling off the materials to fill the gaps, at scrap prices, was a good idea?
  24. I am 100% for increasing the legal path. But we need to know who they are.
  25. I understand he called into an event to support Kamala, but his voice was raspy and there were questions whether it was a deep fake.
