  1. My only objection to his military action was the number of unanswered attacks before he finally pulled the trigger. Seemed that he was waiting for the polls to tell him when it was acceptable to defend our troops. Right or wrong, it looked to me that he was more concerned with the votes than taking care of troops.
  2. I was almost expecting a bolt of lightning. Of course, at the time the receipts weren't in about pay scale discrepancies, so the rant gets better and better each time new info is revealed and exposes more fibs. BTW, I can't post a link, but you may want to Google "Georgia state senate special committee " Case LC 47 2726 It could get interesting in about a week.
  3. I, on the other hand, think that Repub women (as a constituency) are smart enough to know when they're being pandered to. And they want the best candidate, male or female, black, white or brown. DEI has been taking it in the shorts since the 2020 election. Only appeals to Dem wimmuns now. And they wouldn't vote for Trump no matter who he chooses.
  4. And perhaps not lie about it, in church of all places...
  5. It's not just that case. It's all the cases that have already been adjudicated. And the ones that haven't started yet. It's all spilt milk, and simply removing her isn't going to be adequate. There's going to be appeals and lawsuits for decades. I suspect they're going to have to dismiss a lot of the cases and start all over.
  6. Just out of curiosity, what year did that happen?
  7. I don't know. I'm kinda glad the gub'ment stands in the way of infanticide and child molesting. The difference of opinion is when the rights of the infant begin. Generally, Repubs just seem to feel that human rights begin earlier in the womb.
  8. I'm not a Biden fan at all, but I don't think he's the one that will light the spark. His minions, absolutely. They have no moral compass. It'll be just like the neocons leading W and Colin Powell to war. I still think both of those guys were decent, moral men. But they got schnookered by the people surrounding them. (who all should have ended up in prison) Just like Biden will. So a hot war on some front in this election year wouldn't surprise me a bit. Question is, which front and how bad?
  9. The wife needs to get better legal advice, she’s being played by her coconspirators. Are you kidding? It's a genius move. She probably has lefty operatives lining up to offer her the big bucks to go away. May even dwarf the $650K her ex has been paid so far. I am kinda curious, though. Being the DA and having all kinds of staff charged with the actual day to day (like her boyfriend), why is it that Fani even needs to be at the trial? Unless, of course, she's really in it for career advancement. I'd say this debacle takes some wind out of those sails. May even end her up in the hoosgaw.
  10. See.... Here's a Democrat that gets it. Dean Phillips, a presidential candidate. Of course, his unifying tone is why the Dem elite won't let him get anywhere... That, and the fact that he won't bow down to the narrative that Biden is the bestest thing since sliced bread. (Edit: Oh, and the narrative that Trumpsters are the scum of the earth and shouldn't be allowed to vote) “Last night I saw a Trump rally outside of mine, I walked up to the line of people a mile long and I simply said hello. I was met with 50 people going to the Trump rally who were friendly, hospitable, thoughtful, some who said they voted for Barack Obama. Some said they were Bernie Sanders supporters. About half of whom had never been to a Trump event before. So for everybody watching right now, Donald Trump is on a big mission to win and Joe Biden is going to get creamed. And I just wish Democrats would wake up and ensure that at least we give it our best shot because right now I’m afraid we are deluded into a nightmare.” https://dailycaller.com/2024/01/22/biden-challenger-dean-phillips-says-president-going-to-get-creamed-says-party-is-deluded-to-think-otherwise/
  11. My recommendation would be for him to get a top notch speech and debate coach in the meantime. I'm a big fan of what he's done in Florida, but he's not ready for the big campaign. He's too wooden. I think he'd do a good job, but he can't get past the interview.
  12. In December, 2020, Texas filed a Bill of Complaint at the Supreme Court to nullify the electoral votes of 4 swing states because of irregularities in the way the votes were collected and counted. 126 congressmen filed an amicus brief supporting the Texas complaint. 17 other states filed amicus briefs supporting the Texas complaint, which required hundreds of state politicians to approve the briefs. The Texas complaint listed a few dozen of the irregularities and it’s worth a read, as are the amicus briefs files by 126 congressmen and 17 states. TX vs Supreme Court filing.pdfTexas vs Amicus.pdf Contrary to the prevailing narrative that the Texas complaints were baseless and therefore "debunked", the Supreme Court simply refused to take up the case, claiming only that Texas had no standing. They specifically noted that they did not consider the facts of the case. So the idea that Trump, out of the blue and of his own accord, decided to “steal an election” is ludicrous at best. As is the idea that he was the first candidate to ever propose alternate electors in case the courts found that some of the votes were illegally cast. Of course, if you choose a blue enough venue and a TDS AG, you could convict him of using too much product in his hair... Hundreds of other elected officials agreed that the election was flawed. And to this day, there are cases winding through the courts, many of which have found that there were illegalities. Too late, of course, for the 2020 election. https://www.scotusblog.com/case-files/cases/texas-v-pennsylvania/
  13. Are any of those indictments by Republican leaning DA's, AG's, or prosecutors? Or in venues that historically vote Repub?
  14. Maybe, though I wouldn't call him racist. But we knew that about Trump going in. That's why I was not a fan when he ran in 2016. I often referred to him as a despicable human being. Then I watched him as president and watched what's happened since then and I support him over whoever the Dem elites will be running. Rand Paul's right. Haley is the candidate of the warmongers and the globalists. If this was 20 years ago, we'd call her a closet neocon.
  15. Devon Lancashire does not agree. Excellent find. I'm not saying it can't happen. But I've met thousands of guys here in China (where I sit typing this the day after a nice respite in Bangkok weather) and I've never met one named Shandong or Qinghai. Let alone Qinghai Shandong. I'm just saying it's worth looking into. Maybe there's a province I've never been to, with names like that.
  16. She's filed a motion to quash the subpoena for her to testify in the divorce hearing. Doesn't sound like anyone's getting gored here... 'Cept maybe Willis. Of course, with her being a fan of lawfare, I have no doubt that she'll try to use her public position to further personal interests...again... Here's some interesting stuff out of Atlanta (The Columbian) On Oct. 4, 2022, Wade purchased American Airlines tickets to Miami for himself, Willis and Clara Bowman, who is believed to be Wade’s mother and who traveled from Texas. The three tickets cost a combined $1,367. That same day, he paid more than $2,600 to Royal Caribbean International. On Oct. 5, Wade spent approximately $3,800 with Vacation Express, a company that offers vacation packages and tours. Wade, Willis and Bowman arrived in Miami on Oct. 28, according to flight records reviewed by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The records also show that Wade and Willis traveled from Miami to Aruba. Bowman stayed in Miami and returned to Texas on Oct. 31, flight records show. There were additional charges on the card of $370 for the Hyatt Regency in Aruba on Nov. 4 and $3,173 to Norwegian Cruise Line on Nov. 7. It was not clear who took either of the cruises or who stayed at the Hyatt. On April 25, 2023, Wade purchased $817.80 in Delta Air Lines tickets to San Francisco in both his and Willis’ names, although they do not show when the flight was taken. They also show that on May 14, Wade spent $840.22 for what appears to be a stay at the DoubleTree hotel in Napa Valley. The records do not show whether Wade and Willis stayed in the same room or whether Willis reimbursed him. https://www.columbian.com/news/2024/jan/20/bank-records-show-that-fulton-county-da-willis-and-special-prosecutor-traveled-together-during-trump-probe/ Heck, even CNN can't dodge this one. https://edition.cnn.com/2024/01/19/politics/fani-willis-divorce-documents-fulton-county/index.html
  17. Soi 6? Sports Illustrated. “The journey we’ve been on—to break out of the mold the world put us in—may sound familiar,” says SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day. “It’s certainly familiar to the women we’ve chosen to be our cover models.” https://swimsuit.si.com/model-years/2022 And they are paying for it dearly... https://edition.cnn.com/2024/01/19/media/sports-illustrated-layoffs/index.html
  18. I was just happy to click on the link and not find a 300 pounder or a dude.
  19. 60 years ago, I'd have agreed with you. 40 years ago, I could believe the disparity was a relic of past racial injustice. 20 years ago, maybe some holdover effect. But we're 3 generations into LBJ's Great Society, going into the 4th. Living in Texas, I have tons of neighbors whose families were dirt farmers in Mexico just 2 generations ago, not speaking English and not a dime to their name when they entered the USA. In those 2 generations, their kids and grandkids now own $300,000 houses in our beach community. Because their families (predecessors) valued education and didn't take living advice from rap singers... (Mexican music is generally very upbeat) 2 generations ago, my Russkie grandparents came to the USA with nothing and no English. We're doing fine, with several multi-millionaires in the family. And the kids are doing even better. Because they valued education (and listened to accordion music- if you grew up in a Russkie or Pollack neighborhood, you'd get the reference). If they can do it, why not the Blacks? I contend it's race baiters whose raison d'être is to keep victimhood thriving. Rap is a symptom.
  20. You seem to be trying to spin that as a racial thing. It's more of an "unfair to poor people" thing. Poor people have less access to health care and healthy foods. And one could argue that being poor is just one result of bad decisions, whether by them or their predecessors. But that would probably be called out as racist. For a great video on the topic, search YouTube for "HERE IS WHY BLK PEOPLE HATE OFFICER TATUM" In any case, life has always been rough for poor people, statistically. Social Security is no different. But it doesn't (and shouldn't) discriminate on color.
  21. Hunter's laptop Russia collusion Myocarditis White supremacists in the military (not) There's been quite a few court cases on election interference that ruled 2020 election policies were actually illegal. And more winding their way through the courts. Watch the ones in Georgia...
  22. We don't often agree, you and me. On this one, we do.
  23. My only objection to immigration is how it's being done. America could tweak immigration policies and attract millions of the best and brightest from around the world. Scientists, engineers, finance wizards, health care workers, and good hard working blue collar non-criminals. (But they may vote Republican.) So instead, we have a wide open southern border with millions of unknown, unvetted people whose first act in the USA is a crime. What could possibly go wrong?
  24. Galveston is still arresting shoplifters and anyone assaulting the tourists or residents. Not hard to imagine that's a draw for businesses tired of blue city policies. And tourists and residents afraid of carjackings and assaults.
  25. Not quite into my 70's yet, but I didn't spend trillions of dollars and I didn't break the southern border and allow in millions and millions of unvetted illegals with no idea who they are, their criminal histories, where they're from, what ailments they're bringing with them, or what their employment prospects are. The effect of both of those are likely to linger for years, maybe even decades.
