  1. Not to worry. Stacey Abrams' group has a $2 billion slush fund. That should get them through the midterms.
  2. I've got over 60 news sources on my Bookmarks list. Though I do have preferences, I'm well clear of any bubble. And syndrome free.
  3. I'll bet you were one who was surprised when Biden self destructed during the debate, then surprised again when they threw him under the bus. You had no clue he was cognitively not there. Because you only listen to the reporters propagandists on the one side. The press isn't free. It was bought and paid for. Not insignificantly, by our own USAID money. To spread lies.
  4. Yes, but the clock is ticking. They should disallow every venue that failed to report on Biden's cognitive decline. The American people deserve honesty from the press.
  5. That's assuming there's really an employee there, and they're even reading their e-mail. Musk is of the belief that some employees aren't even real and paychecks are going out to nefarious actors. And other so called employees aren't working at all. Whether he's right or wrong, I can't think of an easier way to ferret them out. I think of it as a 2FA to get your paycheck. If you don't respond, you won't.
  6. Long before anyone would even want to see KJP. Ever again.
  7. People on Ambien have been filmed doing much worse. Even on airplanes.
  8. Used to be below industry wages, in return for job security. Nowadays, the average gub'ment employee makes above the private sector wages. Where I had to work over 30 years to get a full pension. Not 20. (I didn't make the 30 years. A lot of us got canned just before we were fully vested. A common practice in today's private sector job market). And it's not like they're not vested from the first day, albeit it at a limited rate. Just like the good private sector jobs, if you're lucky enough to get one of those and not one of the new and zoomy jobs that offer no security and only a 401K. Plus, you just had to resort to insults. You couldn't help it. Typical lefty. When they got nothing, they go to the insults and claiming racist, fascist or homophobe.
  9. She did. Only they called them "alternate electors". Just like they called them when Gore set them up. As for the rest of that drivel, it's useless to argue with a victim of the syndrome.
  10. In fairness, if there are 84 shops selling it in the wide open light of day, I can understand why some of the visitors may think it's okay to smoke it, just like all the guys smoking cigarettes in public. I think they're shooting themselves in the foot, tourist numbers (and reputation) wise. And I don't even smoke or drink. It smacks of the randomness of the Thai popo. Who wants to vacation where you may get arrested virtually randomly? Like when they arrested those bridge playing desperados in Pattaya. OTOH, it's a good story to tell the folks back home.
  11. You mean like HRC? She's still claiming she was robbed.
  12. I wonder how long before he'll be back living under the radar in Thailand? I wish the guy well. He obviously didn't cause much of a problem if he lasted that long.
  13. For what? Maybe 2 or 3 (or even 6) months while they rejigger the programs and eliminate all the anti-American, anti-democracy and anti-common sense and delegate it to adults, staff it with non-woke adults and implement appropriate fiscal controls?
  14. Is Trump diminishing American influence with his policies? He's sure pissing off a lot of the right people. Addicts get testy when you withdraw their drug. And too many around the world are addicted to American free money.
  15. Agree, how can transfer be a valid response? We never get to read about the ultimate resolution(s). But it makes perfect sense to transfer someone being investigated to an inactive post so they can't muck around with the investigation.
  16. I think they will be done when DOGE reveals how much tax money they've been funneling into anti-American, anti-sanity, and very anti-democratic programs. (Small d democratic. Big D Democrats have been wallowing in fraud and waste) As satisfying as the early DOGE releases have been, I fear they've jumped the gun on some of the releases... way too early. Once they get the AI trained up (which will take months), the real results will be staggering.
  17. That's only one side of the ledger. How much have they cost on the other side? How many jobs have been sacrificed to high energy costs? How much GDP has not been realized? How many exports haven't sailed because of the higher costs? How many people will literally die this winter because they can't afford the heat?
  18. If you agreed to spend 2%, and over 10 years later you only spend 1.5%, what do you call it?
  19. Scary as that is, as long as people are aware of the risks, it should be their decision. I suspect a lot of people drop dead of heart attacks while running to lose weight, too. Good to see the information being honestly depicted (assuming that's the case). Of course, that leaves out the issue of public funding for the jabs themselves and the cost of treating any aftermath if people do decide to go down that road. That's the sticky part, IMO. For which I have no opinion, being from the US where we don't have an NHS.
  20. NATO will be stronger than ever. Especially once the cheaters start paying what they agreed to invest in our collective defense.
  21. But I thought Putin wanted all of Europe. Or does he just want the areas he already has. The ones he declared even before he moved militarily. The ones he's been holding since years ago. The ones that have already voted to break from Ukraine. If he already holds them, and they've voted to stay, how is Trump giving him anything? Here's the map from CNN in mid 2023. It's past time for the dying to stop and the rebuilding to start.
  22. 1) Google "Wikipedia bias", especially Larry Sanger. 2) There are no singular reliable sources. You have to actually look at all sides. That may mean holding your nose and looking at sources you don't like. Besides, it never hurts to know what your adversaries are peddling.
  23. Typical lefty tactic. Take the orders and only obey the ones that will do the most damage to the other side. And it's not as if they'll have to stop spray cleaning El Capitan or they'll be shutting down Old Faithful on account of budget cuts. (Yeah, I know Old Faithful isn't in Yosemite. Yellowstone is my favorite place to visit in the USA, followed closely by Grand Tetons)
