Good news, i have checked my estimated tax payable for 2026-27 and they are showing the correct state pension amount of £125 (no increases) so it looks like they have done what they said they were going to do for future years.

Well fortunatley i have recovered my HD Prime account so all is well, i've always had a good service from HD Prime and have been with them since 2017, the buffering that many users refer to getting has not been apparent to me other than on the rare occasion so i'll stick with them but if i ever have any need to change i will PM you for your contacts name. Thanks for your help, its appreciated.

I'm having problems with accessing HD Prime channels so am looking at an alternative for watching PL/EFL/FACup football and SkyNews/SkySportsNews. Now looking at the Monomax website i can't find SkyNews or SkySportsNews listed. Do they not do news sites ? I'm not going to sign up if i can't get these news sites. Any info would be appreciated, thanks

As the title says last night i tried to access HD Prime and could not do so. Opened the website and clicked onto channels but NO ACCESS to ANY channels, the same this morning. Anybody else experiencing the problem ?

Now i've always got my statement (65K income) up to January so it shows my January international transfer as my extension is due on the 22nd Jan. I did'nt want to give Korat IO any reason to not accept my BBL statement.

I only consume at home on my patio here in Thailand, the days of consuming outside bars is long gone. I also only consume 2 small spliffs each day in the evening whilst i listen to rock music as the music just sounds so much better, its my life.......😁

Unless things have changed for 2026 that is NOT the case, i do my retirement visa extension in Korat and have done so for many years, i do the 65K monthly pension income. I apply to my local BBL branch 7 days prior to my IO appointment for the 12 month statement and go along to pick it up before attending my IO. I've never had any problems with Korat IO doing this arrangement UNLESS things have now changed. Not surprisingly i have decided this year (my extension is due on 22nd January) to dispense with Thai Immigrations BS bureaucratic nonsense and use an agent. I have applied and have received my extension. Job done and i'm happy.......

It will just be ignored, thank god. I might even pop along and get a medical certificate cos i certainly ain't going to stop consuming, its my life............

I rest my case lol I paid £2650 in 1995 for my Oyster Perpetual Datejust two tone, the Rolex dealer discounted the price by £500 down to £2650 because i paid cash. He requested that i keep this deal to myself and don't let any other Rolex dealer know what he'd discounted my purchase by, evidently Rolex were against any discounts. When i decided to move to Thailand in 2007 i could'nt see the point of having/wearing a real Rolex as everybody would assume it was a fake TIT and if the locals knew it was real they'd cut my arm off for it lol I sold it for £1650 to a very happy guy and just bought loads of fakes here in Thailand. Whenever my two sons visit me from the UK they help themselves to whatever they want.

Hope you're prepared for the cost of any service required from the Rolex BKK shop, i had a real Rolex back in 1995 and had it serviced 5 years later at a cost of £150, god knows what it would cost today !!! I appreciate your only getting it verified as real/high end copy/fake but these Rolex shops are known for being expensive just like the watches they sell.

BINGO, i would'nt EVER trust the Thai private hospital network, its just a great opportunity for them to make as much money as they can with absolutely no thought of them showing any integrity or ethics. They're just a bunch of thieves IME.

I think your first paragraph makes sense to me. I fail to see that a pension provider would receive any refunds from HMRC, that does not make any sense, its the pension holder who has paid any amounts to HMRC that were refundable so they would receive the refunds. That has always been the case for me when i am due any refunds, i receive them directly from HMRC. Confusing to say the least......

What great news, i sincerely hope my wifey enjoys the same treatment but i'm confused as to why the refund was made by the pension provider and not HMRC.

Not the case with Korat IO, i get the 12 month statement from my local BBL and it is never signed by a bank official and it is accepted no problem. Thai IO have differing requirements for some inexplicable reason.
