It might surprise you to learn that I really couldn’t care less whichever side wins the conflict or suffer more casualties etc etc. It’s not my war, I don’t have any skin in the game. What I’m happy about is how the global majority has seen the hypocrisy of the west, has seen how the so called rules based international order is completely one sided, has seen the extent to which some countries will go to defend their hegemony, has seen how sanctions can be effectively mitigated and has decided on their future course of action. Western hegemony is ended. It’s time for a new world order.

My cousin in law lives there. She tells us that if there were elections tomorrow, Z would not get even 10% of the vote and he would most likely be tried as a war criminal for sending hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian men to die for naught. She also tells us that they live in fear daily, not of Russia winning as that’s a forgone conclusion but of what Z might do to bring the country down further, including firing long range missiles into Moscow and St. P. I don’t really believe her but as it’s Ukrainian propaganda, it must be true.

Whatever. The fact remains that there are segments of the US government that continuously spread lies and misinformation about all manner of things, all over the world. To me, the US has zero credibility and is not to be trusted in the slightest. It’s a good thing that most of the rest of the world has come to the same conclusion. I feel sorry for the average decent American.

I don’t know if Sinovac was any more or less effective than the western produced vaccines but neither my wife nor I contracted Covid after being vaccinated with Sinovac. We did not social distance, we lived as normal, going out shopping, eating etc. I know that both my daughters in the UK contracted covid more than once, in spite of being vaccinated.

Whatever that means. But ok, no worries. Unfortunately I can’t write what I think of you as it’s very likely that I will get suspended for breaching the community rules while you get away scot free with saying whatever you like. Rules based order, that sort of stuff. I know your game. Try harder. While you’re at it, learn some new colours from Sesame Street. I hear it helps to push your iq into the teens.

Isn’t it sad that even those that ostensibly support Ukraine by virtue of their attendance couldn’t even agree unanimously on such straightforward matters as nuclear and food security? What a farce of a summit and to think it’s the culmination of 19 months of jet setting around the world by that man in a green t-shirt… 😂

On the summit's first day, Western leaders universally condemned Russia's Israel’s invasion of Ukraine Gaza, invoking the UN Charter to defend Ukraine's Palestine’s territorial integrity and rejecting Putin's Netanyahu’s territorial demands. Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez highlighted the fundamental nature of the conflict, "One thing is clear in this conflict: There is an aggressor, which is Putin Netanyahu there is a victim, which is the Ukrainian Palestinian people." Georgian President Salome Zurabishvili echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and respecting territorial boundaries, "This international community, the new security architecture, can exist only when the big countries, the biggest of the biggest, recognize their neighbors, respect their neighbors and their territorial integrity." Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas underscored the non-negotiable principles of sovereignty and territorial integrity, "Sovereignty, territorial integrity, and discrediting aggression as a tool of statecraft are crucial principles that must be upheld in case of Ukraine Palestine and globally. That is why I'm concerned about so-called peace plans and initiatives that ignore the core UN Charter principles. We cannot treat Ukraine's Palestine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty as somewhat secondary." What do some of you think about the above edits?

Oh my! I hope you weren’t caught up in all those arrests and that you were not roughed up. That would be tragic instead. I also saw a lot of protesters being arrested for protesting the war. Some were even assaulted by the police. Their civil liberties were definitely ignored and trampled on. Only, if didn’t happen in Russia and the protesters were protesting about another war. I’m sure you know which one.
