Me and my wife live on around 25,000 Baht a month, quite easily. I don't drink or smoke, we eat very well, have a car, motorcycle, internet, 2 big screen TVs, subscribe to beIN, and True, for the football. Don't throw money away on hookers and massages! lol

Live in Thailand permanently and have done for the last 15 years, 180 days living in the UK would be like a prison sentence to me.
Last time I went back I wanted to turn around, and come back here, before I left Manchester Airport!

Not suggesting that I'm one of those...
However the recommendation of using a dedicated bank account for immigration purposes has been mentioned many times.
Banks can/do consolidate transactions.
Again mentioned many times.
Finally anyone applying for extension with days left is asking for issues.
The OP deals with CW and that office allows applications up to 45 days early.
Poor planning by the OP on various fronts.
Did you bother to read my post? I didn't mention any of the items you "replied" to.

Getting back to the topic. The problem of not being able to get a 12 month statement immediately, seems to exist only with the Bangkok Bank. It doesn't seem to be a problem at other Banks.
Didn't they used to have people who were on this forum, and helped people? Are they still around?
Perhaps if enough Bangkok Bank account holders complain to them, either in person at the Bank, or through their call centre, they will update their procedures.
I saw somewhere that a TV member had got a 6 month statement, for the first 6 months of the year, (which Bangkok Bank do supply immediately), then followed that up 6 months later with a statement for the second 6 months, and took them together to Immigration. Would that work?-

Yeah right. Spread by people who have never used it. Those of us who have, know it's all total BS.
"Horse" is that intended to make me think you're an expert on such matters? lol.

More scary non-news. Cannabis seems to be the current number one go-to word, for click bait!

in my wife's (Thai) family the ones worth bothering with are not at all materialistic, and care about the family as a whole, and not just themselves, or their part of the greater family.
While the ones that are greedy, selfish, and uncaring, are so shallow that we barely give them the time of day. These people also drink, and gamble a lot, neither of which ever seems to make them happy. -

I've used Cannabis for over 50 years, never came across anyone who overdosed on it. I once smoked 70 spliffs in a day, wthout overdosing. Some people just crave attention, which is probably the real reason behind these admissions.

No surprise this has turned into another Muslim-bashing thread.
Which is more acceptable, some verbal muslim bashing on here, or a devoted follower blowing themselves and hundreds of innocent children up, in Manchester?

I did that when I first married into my wife's family. I paid for a niece to rent a room for 4 years so she could go to university. She tried to turn all the family against me over a dispute about a drive. I only help the ones that help me now. The rest of them can do one!

We did the ask for the 12 month statement a week early at Bangkok bank. When we went to pick it up, it was dated a week previously, and they had got my address wrong! I've only been with them for 20 years! Absolutely useless.
We got a 6 month statement at another branch, done immediately, and that was either good enough for Immigration, or they didn't notice! -

I need to do the same thing but when I contacted Keyvisa I was not comfortable with them saying they needed to keep my passport for 6 weeks ?
How long did they hold your passport ?
They had mine for longer than that, though they did return it to me when I needed to show it, for a Hospital stay. I sent it back to them again, and they returned it along with my new passport, when it arrived. Best to take a photo of your Passport picture page and current visa stamp, in case you are stopped. Old Passport is invalid anyway, as the UK Passport Agency at Trendy cuts the corner off it.

Lets us know how that works out--- I am also woeful at doing things, my UK passport ran out 6 months ago (I have 2 others) & I have been meaning to contact him.
I used them at the beginning of the year, when most of the UK Passport office was off work with Covid! Took a good few weeks, but got there in the end. Found Darren and his staff very efficient and helpful, delay was not down to them, excellent service throughout!

Hi BMT,
I remember your post and in fact I agreed with you, it was not trimmed very well at all.
However, as I mentioned was the smoke was surprisingly ok.
The posters that I am referring to were the ones who decided to troll the thread by posting pictures of premium 'high priced' bud, while slagging off cheaper alternatives, despite the thread being about cheap weed.
For some reason, these trolls got very upset/angry that other people would try cheaper weed and tried to disrupt the thread.
It would appear that some people are just plain rude.
I hit the ignore button at folks who are rude or just plain nasty. No need for it, especially in this section of the forum!

I have a house under an usufruct so I can vouch for this. I suggest using the search function on this site using just one word, usufruct. I found 9 mentions. Try this first.
Thank you!
You still think you can live on less than 50k a month month
