I think it started in the cannabis forum with a couple of guys overdoing it on the grumpy strains. Now you can smell it just about everywhere ????
It's always been like this, in the TV/AN forums. The folks that deal with Visa problems are excellent, as are several other leaders of the various sub forums, but a lot of the members are way too opinionated, and self righteous. For some reason Thailand, and knowledge of it, seems to brings out the worst in them. The modern keyboard warrior mode of many is also sadly, a contributing factor. I've found a good "rule of thumb", is to check how many posts a person has made. If it's a huge amount, (mods excepted obviously), then usually that person seems to exist purely to cause chaos on here.
I'm looking forward to seeing the replies to this, as I can guarantee I won't be able to read most of them, as they will already be on my ignore list. lol
Seriously, why spend your days being as obnoxious as you can to others, in the forums on here, or trying to wind others up?-

Two books arrived that a mate sent me from the UK today, no problem. I've also ordered clothes for my wife and had them sent here from the UK many times, again with no problem. Make sure you get the codes correct for the customs forms too!

Deanna Troi was on my list until I saw her topless in a movie. Some people should just keep their clothes on.
She always looked as though she had a fine pair of baps, in her Trek uniform, too!

I wish Thailand would be like Mexico. No visa needed for 90 days.
It would be nice to have this in Thailand as my Spanish is terrible.

Don't think I'd be smoking anything if I had Covid. But there are other ways of using the herb.

I was, but I don't think I'll ask again, not at those prices! Crikey, I think I'll press on with me cheap weed thank you very much! ????
Actually, I just saw that this resin is an Indica variant, which just disables me, the cheap weed seems to be more of the Sativa variant, which gets the house cleaned much faster and better ????
"gets the house cleaned much faster and better" - pop round to mine, whenever you want to! lol

The parents are the same sort of idiots who put toilet cleaner in the same easy access cupboard as soft drinks, then wonder why the kid drank it.

As usual humans have taken advantage.
How many doped up potheads are driving around on the roads being a danger to other innocent road users.
You completely ignore the facts in your wild assumption. In a recent survey, (New Year 2021-22), 21.05% of road accidents involved DRUNKEN drivers. Not a single mention of drivers on ANY other kind of drugs.
Drunken (NOT drugged) driving is a major cause of road accidents world wide, yet no one ever seems to mention banning alcohol on here.

You sure about a 10 year licence.....I was given a temp licence in 2007, since then had 3 x 5/6 year licences.
Absolutely, it's in front of me now. Why would I lie? Pointless.

I have not seen any poll of the Thai population.... and I would suspect one would really attract only those who support decriminalization and hence be a slanted poll. I suspect the young favour it, the older do not.... no impact on me, until I either need the stuff for a medical reason, or get hit by some stoned up fool driving.
In my village everyone is growing it now. Old ladies are suddenly very popular, for their knowledge, as they used to grow it in the old days, before it was made illegal. I suspect a poll would have more than it's fair share of people who think alcohol is OK, but not the demon weed. One only has to look through this forum, to see the alkies trying to put a spanner in the works!

How does one get a 10 year lic?
I got mine in 2012, I passed my Thai driving test in 2011, and got a 1 year licence, then went to renew that, and was given a 10 year one in 2012. i'm not sure, but I don't think they issue them anymore. My wife (Thai) passed her car driving test, in 2018, got a one year licence then was issued a 5 year licence, in 2019. All from Phetchabun office. Hope this helps.
-
Hi I'm trying to book an appointment to renew my driving licence in Phetchabun, but the app on my wife's mobile doesn't seem to be working. Any links/ help greatly appreciated. I've got a Doctors certificate already. I'm on the site for the Driving licence renewal do I need to do both courses (Private licnece and persoanl licence (safe driving)
Thanks for any help. -
Is this the same in all provinces? One has to book an appointment ? My 10 year Thai licence expires next week.

Soon, the laws will change to make life harder for the falang........
this is just another red flag the falang community act like they don't see...
Yet another poster trying to sow the seeds of paranoia, love using the ignore list for these people.

I was wondering that too. Signed up for the season, but no TV/Asean Now Leagues, as in previous years? Who runs it on here?

Way better, and a lot less hassle for the authorities than alcohol ever was. A huge reduction in violence too, what's not to like, among reasoning individuals?

The best way to ensure Tourism bounces back, is to make Cannabis legal in all forms.

It's within Thailand. The company selling it claims to have a distribution licence.

Rumour has it he can walk on water, and can also turn water into wine, so a few goals should be no problem at all!
I can recommend the new TV series "All Or Nothing Arsenal", really interesting viewing.
