When Disneyland opened in CA. it was a perfect place for fulfilling kids wildest dreams. Now those kids and maybe a few of their kids are driving a spike through the heart of it's founder's intentions. Calling Prince Charming a stalker for Christs sake. AND, just for the record Woke Disney, Peter Pan is a boy. His name's "Peter" and NOT "Peter Pumper" for a reason.

China Clean Energy Slowdown? Its not just America & Europe

I agree. I was more thinking his role could be as an advisor or even just supplying the supercomputer. More or less refocusing young minds to a brighter future for themselves. No matter what we old farts moving on in a few more years do, their future is not ours to dictate and control. I would LOVE to see them develop themselves W/O establishment influence the way it is now. I'd like to see Elon perfect the Rail-gun. 🤠 -

wavodavo - If I were president I'd put up $100m as top prize in a focused scientific project competition for a more sustainable and more efficient energy source. Students only - no press - Bet some student group takes it home by the end of 2026. -
Texas Governor Challenges Proposed EPIC Muslim City Development

All they have to do is move a few hundred miles west. California has a LOT of empty, wide open area just past the AZ/CA state line. Should make them feel right at home. Newsom will probably hand them a golden spade. 😁 -

Pretty simple law. Maybe you lads should fix YOUR house before attacking ours. If you reply, kindly remember, those of you living in Thailand are complying with the exact same law. -
Rising Defiance: Armed Gaza Clans Call for Uprising Against Hamas
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
This^^ - When there's an "Infestation" you exterminate it. Hoping Israel and the US are taking full advantage of this and arranging a meeting with clan leaders AND their heirs to locate Hamas pockets and the hostages. The aftermath should be achieved the same way. Israel, the US and clan leaders to move forward with reconstruction AND elections AND, dare I say it, a PEACE DEAL. -
China Clean Energy Slowdown? Its not just America & Europe

I'm hoping the new AI center in the states (when built) solves the equation of perpetual motion. It always seems people take things to about 70-80% of potential and never complete it. As an example: Why were EVs built w/o an alternator or generator that assists the batteries in running the engine (technically a 'motor' since it's electric) or trickle charge the batteries? Living with nature is the answer, not trying to 'harness', i.e. control it. (recent earthquake is a good example) -
I'm glad you asked: Democrats stretching back nearly a decade have touted the use of the encrypted messaging app Signal, long before the Trump administration came under the national spotlight for using the app to discuss a plan of attack on terrorists in Yemen. "We have all these Signal chats. If you don’t have Signal, get on Signal, okay? Do not trust …. get on Signal," Texas Democratic Rep. Jasmine Crockett said just Saturday during a speech before a Human Rights Campaign event in Los Angeles. Crockett touted the use of Signal in the context of protected chats among colleagues, such as a "Dem women's caucus chat" she belongs to and how Democrat lawmakers trade scuttlebutt from the Hill. A few fun stories you may not have seen: https://www.foxnews.com/category/us/democratic-party As far as the topic goes, this quote pretty much sums it up:

NY – Court Blocks Non-Citizens from Voting in Municipal Elections "New York City’s attempt to allow non-citizens to vote in municipal elections was recently terminated by the highest court in New York State. In a 6-1 decision, the high court stated that “the New York constitution as it stands today draws a firm line restricting voting to citizens.” Who cannot vote? Non-citizens, including permanent legal residents, cannot vote in federal, state, and most local elections. Some people who have a mental disability may not be able to vote. https://www.usa.gov/who-can-vote Congress Approves Civil Rights Act of 1957 An article from CQ Almanac 1957 "One of the notable features of the 1956 election was the movement of Negro votes into the Republican column. Republicans and northern Democrats alike interpreted the returns to mean that the Negro vote, safely Republican from Reconstruction days to 1928, and later, during the New Deal, overwhelmingly Democratic, currently could not be considered the exclusive property of either party. Rather, Negroes were weighing the performance of both parties, especially in the field of civil rights. Republican candidates scored heavily in the 1956 campaign by contrasting President Eisenhower's initiative in the civil rights field with the lack of performance by the Democratic-controlled 84th Congress." Interesting use of language. Still don't find anything that includes non-citizens being allowed to vote. Been this way in the US since the 1700's without challenge. The USofA belongs to US citizens only! IF you don't fight for it, you're fighting against it PERIOD! 🤠

World Athletics Introduces Gender Testing for Female Track Athletes
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
The Olympics (like everyone else) should create a 3rd category where that 4% can compete. Pretty simple solution. It'll guarantee no cross gender competitions. Every female gets a Gyno exam and a check (blood work) for hormone treatments that NO REAL FEMALE would have had. Thought you all that support this BS would have learned by now that supporting the 4% over the 96% is a failure from the start. The only other way to be sure is to have everyone compete naked. (not really, don't get pervy on me) -
Signal Texts Reveal White House’s Growing Resentment Toward Europe
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Makes one wonder about your choice of an avatar depicting an American Indian in "White-face" because it projected power and strength. Some African tribes and the aborigines do that too. President Trump lives in today's world while looking ahead, but, a short trip back to the 1700's for some common sense in policing and eliminating bad actors. He may also be wondering if the right choices were made 80 yrs ago. Completely understandable considering. Makes one wonder what it would look like today if the USSR had been included in the formation of NATO. -
Maxine Waters Targets Melania Trump in Fiery Speech

Can some of the dems on here help get this ignoramus on the ticket in '28? 2 second search: Early life and education. Melanija Knavs was born in Novo Mesto, Yugoslavia, now part of present-day Slovenia, on April 26, 1970. -
You had to RSVP to an unsent invitation to attend - the "No Bags, Signs or Guns" was a nice touch. 🤠 Makes one wonder how much this is costing the DEMS to support. No apparent ticket cost, road crew, roadies (for the bands) working 2x 18hr shifts, etc. Was it funded by Soros? (the irony of that boggles the mind) And where does he stand ATM? On February 21, the Times published an interview with Sanders under the headline “Bernie Sanders Isn’t Giving Up His Fight.” In it, Sanders advised the Democrats to recognize that “the system is broken, period. And you can’t patch it up a little here and a little there.” Does he think the audience was going to be ok paying $2-4T more in taxes replacing what the "Oligarchs" usually cover? Ah Bernie, bless his heart. At least he gets to hug the congressional "hottie" on stage.

This simple statement means a single judge is trying to stop the highest law enforcement in the country and the president from enforcing the law, AFTER he'd taken the junket to an "Anti-Trump" event in Idaho. The law says exhibiting "Good Behavior" during his time on the bench. He should be careful because there's also laws against sedition and treason and subversion. -
Biden’s Attempt to Fundraise for Democrats Falls Flat
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
Dude, you need to contact the DNC and see if you can be a "Spin Doctor" for the '28 Harris/AOC ticket. You really seem to believe that 49,8<48.3. Let's see if this helps: 49.8+48.3=98.1. That leaves 1.9 who voted for RFK (or other) even though he wasn't running. The electoral college was 226(H)42% and 312(T)58% = majority. https://www.archives.gov/electoral-college/2024 By state: 16(H) and 34(T) = majority https://www.presidency.ucsb.edu/statistics/elections/2024 Are ya seeing a pattern here? Big number good (majority), small number bad. (minority) -
Trump’s Envoy Dismisses Starmer’s Ukraine Plan as "Posture and Pose"
mrwebb8825 replied to Social Media's topic in World News
As a refresher: The Soviet Union was composed of 15 constituent soviet socialist republics. Those were Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan. Question is; How many of these countries has Russia attacked? Follow up question; How many European countries sent troops and arms to help? Those who picked Georgia have short memories: "The international reaction to Russia’s military campaign in Georgia was to prove remarkably muted, with Moscow suffering few negative consequences. On the contrary, EU leaders led calls for a ceasefire that appeared to favor Russian interests..." https://carnegieendowment.org/russia-eurasia/politika/2023/07/playing-with-fire-georgias-cautious-rapprochement-with-russia?lang=en Might be backing the wrong horse in this conflict. Interesting read.
