    If people think that Thaksin should be jailed that's fair enough, but surely the last PM, the unelected soldier, should be jailed for leading an illegal coup.

    In the guesthouse I have stayed in Pattaya for years when I go there had 6 Indians want to rent one room, the farang owner hunted them. I know the owner very well and he is not a liar.

    If it is anything like their Military Academy I imagine you will be right if going by the antics of the last 9 years under the unelected PM at that time. It would not be so good for his health.

    According to this link So Srettha is in favour of same sex marriages? I stopped being a supporter of the SNP (Scottish National Party) because of that, although I would have stopped supporting the SNP after they elected a Muslim FM (First Minister).

    I always thought Thailand was a third world country. Surely the fact that a guy with soldiers, guns and tanks behind him, can just walk in, take over the country and be allowed to stay as an unelected PM for nine years with only a Military Academy education and probably have the same low IQ as any Somchai in the street. Could anything like that happen in a first world country?

    Yes, he probably did tell porkies, but tell me any senior politician in Thailand or the UK who has not. I only refer to these two countries as they are the only countries I have lived in.

    If you are referring to Thaksin being responsible for the deaths of drug dealers, I would like to see them all dead. I have read through the years about Thaksin being responsible for the killing of drug dealers. I am not saying what actually happened as it is only what I have read. But what I have not read is any reference to any person saying that anyone accused or caught dealing drugs was innocent but still killed.

    What country is developing? You are not referring to the Banana Republic of Thailand surely.

    I suppose I'm "old folk" too, but it never stops me from walking through people who are standing blocking the pavement, the Chinese were bad at this when they were here, they are not going to force me on the the road to get past.

    Firstly, give them the chance to move, if they won't then just walk right through them though just be careful of old folk and young children.

    On my Redmi Note 9 the home screen just disappeared completely.

    I can't, if it kept happening all the time I could take it to the Samsung shop. I could get a few calls and it is fine then almost every day at some point it will change from sound to vibrate, then the call would only ring on vibrate.

    No, I have had this phone for about two months and this has only started in the past week. but I will check it out, thanks for trying to help.

    Apart from when they are driving or riding motorbikes, I find the vast majority of Thai's very respectful and honest.

    Just what bill are you talking about, can you give an example? Besides you are not a guest here, Guests are people who are invited and are respected. Let's wait and see if this new government really will treat us expats as guests.

    If you go to the Sounds and Vibration in the Settings part of the Samsung, you have Sound, Vibrate and Mute. I keep my phone on Sound, but I am missing some calls because the sound button keeps moving to the Vibrate button. This is happening very regularly. any explanations for this?

    If there is any justice the unelected last PM will also eventually land in Jail. I am not saying that Thaksin deserves to be in jail as I do not know enough about him, but I sure know how things were between 2014 and now.
