Is there really much worse than having cirrhosis of the liver? If I had to live in the UK, no matter how skint I was, I would never have to decide whether to eat or heat. I would go to jail first. -

Yes, very sad, all they are doing is giving themselves future liver problems, and that is the ones who don't already have them. Drinking every day means you have a big drinking problem.

I have been with my wife for 18 years now but I will never complain about anyone being a sexpat, normal guys love the girls, but I would ridicule guys who are vastly overweight for letting themselves go like that, and those shirtless morons walking about in public whether they are covered in tattoos or not.

I picked out an item I wanted on the app, it is not available on my PC, I used the same email and password as on my PC, and they tell me it is incorrect. The sign in is certainly not automatic with me.

Just what is it with Lazada? I try to sign in using the app, eventually getting to English, picking what I want then asked to sign in, when I do I am told my email or password is wrong. Which is garbage. Is it the case that you need to sign in or should I say sign up from the beginning if you want to use the app? The item I want does not seem to be available on the website, but is on the app.

Motorbikes should be permitted on these roads if they are above 250cc over the years I have frequently used these roads on my Forza as I don't agree with this rule, and only being stopped once. I handed over 300Bt then a smile and handshake with the officer. -

The dreadful road statistics?? I rest my case. The majority of Thai people are not rude, they are decent, honest and very helpful.

I don't mind the way Makro does it but if I was pushing my trolley with goods in it away from the store and someone approached me and asked to see my receipt, this has never happened, but they would be told in no uncertain manner to get lost as he is accusing me of theft.

What a load of nonsense. This topic must be a great help to anyone considering moving to Thailand. My own advice would be, make sure your intended has a full time job as you must make it clear you will not be helping her parents, brothers or sisters etc financially. If you are unnattractive or overweight forget it altogether unless you are really wealthy and have good pensions every month. -

Being teetotal I cannot comment on the whisky, but yes, you are right about the food but just finished a flight to and back from the UK and was following a post about food on the plane and had to get my oar in. It is so easy to drift a bit off topic, I think we all do that at times, but thanks for your output.
