As a guy from Scotland, I have never been partisan to my country because I am so ashamed of it. The reason is where the Southern Irish people fought and died for their independence, most Scottish people could not put a X on a piece of paper for theirs. They have now got what they deserve.

I don't agree with you about kids, I was an English teacher and there were lots of kids anything but stupid. I know I go on about this and I will keep going on about it. It is when they get older and in some cases even as they are still kids, it is when they start riding motorbikes, and not just kids but adults on cars and motorbikes that their stupidity comes to the fore, and I am talking about a big majority here. Not once can I go out on my daily ride on my bike and not come into contact with these idiots.

I was told the exact opposite at my IO with my wife as a witness, and so it has been proved every time since then. Even different officers in the same IO will sometimes tell you different. This is Thailand.

That is not true, I never knew anything about this parole nonsense until I was here a few months. Besides when I first came here no one ever had to do 90 day reporting unless they did the 400,000 or 800,000 and that was their choice. All one had to do was go to the border every 90 days, no bothering about any immigration or agents then.

That is a good idea, but you are still reporting to your IO once a year. I just do not like the idea of reporting to anyone as there is no one in this world better than me.

Good idea but even that is not without it's problems. This going to the parole office every 90 days is just ridiculous. Is there any other country in the world does this? If I knew that I would ever have to report to anyone I would never have stayed in this Banana Republic of Thailand.

I would also want to know who foots the bill. You keep on reading about people getting attacked, the police called, then they are taken to hospital even just for a check up. When it is a farang, the hospital, private or public, will mostly up the price. What if the person cannot afford it? Does the hospital refuse to let them go till someone foots the bill or what?
