    The last time I had the hiccups was when I was about 10 years old. I am in Pattaya and was doing a lot of walking and drinking lts of water, low fat milk and "no sugar" drinks. After I went to bed I got the hiccups which seemed to last a long time. I really thought that getting the hiccups was a childrens thing. Anyone else who is a non or social drinker ever get the hiccups?

    Why shouldn't they be?? Is a motorway and a highway not the same thing, or is it the tollways that are being referred to?

    I am not staying home for three weeks. If any individual farang throws water at me it will be considered as assault and I will take the appropiate action.

    Wrong, some judges don't, I won a case, a civil case then two weeks later my lawyer phoned me and said the judge had changed her mind. Probably another brown envelope case. My condolences about your dad.

    Would you really be breakijng the defamation law by naming the shop and stating they charge more for haircuts for farangs?

    At least I would know where to buy a reasonably priced kettle, in fact just for you, there's Makro, BigC, Lotus, Mr Do It Yourself, Home Pro etc. Hope that helps. 😃

    Sorry I meant 100 conditions of the insurance, one poster said there were 117, that would maybe take a very fast reader about 10 minutes, then another 30 trying to figure some of them out, and that's not an exaggeration.

    I tried reading a book about kettles as my computer literacy means I cannot google where to buy a kettle. For those who's computer literacy is better than mine I would suggest they try Lazada.

    There is no need for 100 pages of conditions on insurance policies, just like legal jargon and small print it is all there to try and give the insurance companies an excuse to refuse claims.

    It should not be too hard to have a good look at ladies who look like in their thirties before engaging with them. If in doubt stay well clear, simples.

    I always thought a scooter was what a child used to hop along the pavement. as the lady is a nurse you would think she had the education and intelligence to know that she would not be covered for insurance by not having a motorbike license "it does not mention she did not have a motorbike license though I believe that is the case".

    Tell me, if you win a court case in Thailand, do you still have to pay court expenses plus your lawyer fee's? Would the company or person you win the case against not have to pay your lawyer fee's?

    Yes, but is it really worthwhile taking more legal advice? Thai lawyers have a reputation for being very expensive.
