  1. Train id very slow and schedule is infrequent. Always arrives beind schedule. Bus definitely faster snd usually leave every 1 - 1 1/2 hours. In addition it is 3rd class only on train, hard uncomfortable wooden seats.
  2. Vaccines also shorten duration and severity of infection which does relate to extent and duration of infectivitu.
  3. Not always. Often it is just inside closets.
  4. Also np ingo on numbers of non-Thai dead or overall total. Cambodians and other Asians are also among the dead.
  5. OP what you describe is either allergy or irritation from an environmental factor. Could be air pollution. Could be mold. Etc Are any of the neighbors similatly affected? If not then suggest a careful examination of the house.
  6. Did you repeat the CBC?
  7. The newer vaccines are not available. Only the same as before.
  8. If the stone was more than 5 years prior and they are basing the exclusion on date of a note stating the stone is gone you have a good case for appeal. Sppeal process is dedcribed in uour poljcy focumrnts. If appeal to April fsils you can go up yo next level.
  9. It is also possible the the doctor in his notes for the current condition mentioned the prior stone. In fact that is the most likely explanation. Having had 1 kidney stone does in fact put you at greater than avetage risk for another.
  10. Of course. Boosters are readily available at pretty much every hospital....not necessarily Pfizer but there can be an advantage to mixing vaccines. In Bankok tjere was a vacvine center at the Bang Sue station but I am not sure if it is still open. The varioys private hosputals fo it, Med Park is especially known ss easy place to walk on and get it.
  11. Posts with factual misinformation, and repliles to ssme, have been removed.
  12. It might be possible to see Dr. Roonroj through the Chula after hours clinic. If not glrhen the public Chula channel is best bet. You'd likely end up there anyway. Your average neuroligist will not be much help on this.
  13. Why on earth do you think treatment would involve months of chemotherapy? Unless the cancer has already metastasized treatment would be either surgery or brachytherapy. Millions of men undergo both successfully. You really do not want to die of prostate cancer. It us a particularly difficult death.
  14. Stent cost will depend on number of stents involved (if stent is required -which you will not know until angiography, if indicated, is perfromed). In a government hospital, the main cost is for the stent device itself. BTW Banglamung is a government hospital and hardly "fancy-schmancy". Also probably does not do stents as it is just a district hospital. Sirikit Heart Center is very good. I doubt it would cost more than care under Medicare taking onto account air fare etc.
  15. if in fact your pre-existing condition was not a risk factor for what was denied coverage, then yo ushould appeal this to the Insurance Commission.
  16. Choose the doctor, not the hospital Health forum covers the whole of Thailand and your request for only a doctor in Pattaya area was noted. Would help to know nature of the problem. For some things I can't recommend treating in Pattaya area (e.g. prostate cancer)
  17. Cardiovascular disease is a known complication of hypertension. As is kidney failure. Pretty much any insurer with an exclusion so worded, would exclude treatment of coronary artery disease, stroke, kidney failure. If at the time of application your BP was well controlled on medication it is possible (but not 100% sure) you could have avoided such an exclusion by going with an international insurer like Cigna.
  18. Worth noting that dome posts in this thread have conflated BPH with prostate cancer. Ent8rely different conditions and different range of treatment options.
  19. Joint Thai-Cambodian venture. "Influential" milutary figures from both countries involved. Almost all clientele are Thai. Staff both Thai and Khmer.
  20. There has been positive feedback on https://www.bangkokpattayahospital.com/en/doctor-profile?v_id=205&depid= Moved to heakth forum
  21. Dr. Niyom at Bumrungrad https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Niyom-Tantikun
  22. Addendum: looks like ypu can buy it online here https://www.demedclinic.com/product/32438-34744/protopic-01-โปรโทปิคค-10g-ลดการอักเสบของผิวหนัง-ที่ไม่ใช่ยาสเตียรอยด์-และรักษาโรคด่างขาว-demed
  23. It is available under brand name Protopic but will likely be hard to locate and might also require a prescription (not sure on that)
