By what messure does he base this "50%" on, to do tnat he would need to know, and acknowledge, the total % of corruption, in Thailand, from ALL areas, including his own , level of corruption. Does it also mean, knowing all those who are corrupt, including himself, have lowered their own personal level, of theft, oops corruption, by 50%, if so then we still have the same number of corrupt people/organisations.

Thailand is one of the easiest countries to come and go from and you can be sure a lot of countries do not allow the same freedoms for Thai's or any other nationality to easily come and go.

Didn't take much to get my wife to Australia, on landing she is entitled to medicare, can buy a car, a house, land, all in her name, can work, can travel freely, does not have to report to immigration/police or anyone, basically the only thing she can't do is apply for centrelink allowances (social security) or vote. Oh, and not having to suffer the racist 2 tire pricing.

This is typical "thainess". Instead of ensuring all equipment are functioning properly and everyone benefits from the exercise, they use the exercise to to find "faults".

The idea of the "test" is to test the response of the emergency teams, the evac system needs to function ALL the time, so needs regular testing and maintenance.

Cynical would be finding out after a tsunami that they didn't work, and hadn't been tested in years.
