More likely that VFS global caused a delay over the festive season!

My money is on the agent messing up. My recent experience with VFS

was of a super polite and professional set-up. Docs checked and

immediately placed and sealed in a DHL envelope, payment deducted

in the UK about three days later.

Completely upfront about an expected 10 week wait(came back in eight),

so am sure they would have been equally honest about holding back on

dispatch of docs until New Year.

OP - via an agent otherwise it means me traveling to Bangkok and the risks with COVID and having to spend hours in a bus or train

The agent says that VFS is a cause known only to itself.

The truth is finally out, your "agent" will be holding your original passport,

Check your credit card account and you will see when payment for the

new passport was taken, usually a couple of days after receipt of the

    application in the UK

  3. Want to touch up my ceiling where the paint has peeled, am convinced

there is a standard off-white to achieve this, seem to remember my builder

said they always used "mushroom white," but this drew a blank at Home Pro,

Have used standard white previously, but this was glaringly bright compared

    to the original.

    Any suggestions appreciated....

Currently taking about 10 weeks. You will get an appointment a couple of weeks in advance

of your requested dates, it is not an interview just a document check. Not sure what your

90-day report has got to do with this, you still retain your old passport intact, which is not

cut until you collect your new passport.

This link may help explain the process, but you need to check for latest opening times etc

Siamburi's at the top end of Soi Khao Talo has just had a fresh delivery of Warburton's crumpets. The locally produced versions don't have the right dough structure to work well as a crumpet, the butter must be able to soak through completely. I love a toasted crumpet with lashings of butter and a spoonful of honey ro strawberry jam. BTW, Siamburi's also has NZ salted butter on sale very cheap, ideal to go with a crumpet.

Got a horrible feeling am going to start a run on crumpets before I even get there.

  6. Thanks for the response guys, hoping for an outlet with a more central location

as staying at the Dolphin end of Beach Road, but Siamburys seems the best bet.

Indeed, used to get from Villa, but no longer seem to stock.
