That's a big bunch of money to risk on a single transfer, whatever
the options better to spread the payments, sounds as if you have
not even got as far as choosing a property, so plenty of time.

There's an open market furniture place on Sukhumvit opposite Big C and Bahn and Beyond. Not cheap but good quality.
Thanks for your help. Not a native to Pattaya, so if I park at Big C, should be nearby?
Confirm am looking for furniture for indoors .

I plan to get the Covid vaccine in the UK. Hopefully that may circumnavigate a lot of the requirements to return. Fingers crossed.
Not so fast my friend. Understand these vaccines require two shots with a four week gap between and don't become effective
until six weeks after the first dose....that could be a very long holiday

Think this is that old chestnut which states that visa extensions and 90-day reports etc are
undertaken at all immigration offices nationwide, without adding the caveat that you can
actually only do so in the province you are located.

Haven't been walking the village itself, but have to drive the road to get to my barber....
Most all of the places on the road leading in seem to be operating....
If it's furniture you're looking for, those places many times had better prices....
Thanks for your update, yes its furniture I am after so will check the places you mentioned.
Was last there a couple of years ago and bought some beautiful furniture inside the village,
with the benefit of being able to organise a single shipment......that was the expensive part.
Think I am OK for a haircut.

Heading to the Avani Hotel Pattaya this weekend, special residents rate with Thai ID or WP three nights
no breakfast B12,600. Checked out Agoda, same three nights include breakfast B8,400.....go figure.

The situation in Thailand seems gloomier from the inside than from the outside I must say. And anyone married to a Thai woman should know better than thinking I could ever explain anything better than her reasoning.
It's a done deal as long as the borders are open and flights resuming
Not gloomier, just more realistic.

What's so difficult about making tahini.
Buy a pack of sesame seeds(Tesco), put in frying pan and toast for four minutes,
let cool, put in blender with a little olive oil and squeeze of lemon, blend and
you are done.

3 minutes ago, OJAS said:The seasoning requirements for those using the bank balance method for proving finances for retirement extensions have also changed since your previous application this time last year. Your bank account is now under the Immigration spotlight year round (and not just to the tune of 800k minimum for 3 months prior to an application). The current minimum requirements are 800k for 2 months prior to + 3 months following an application, reducing to 400k for the remaining 7 months.
EDIT: I see that @dick turpin has beaten me to it!
You've got to get up pretty early in the morning.....

Its been clearly stated since March last year that you need to provide proof of 800k in your account
for three months after your last extension, 400k for the next seven months, then 800k for the two
months before your next extension
