Thanks guys.....most critical advice would seem to be to test out on small area first and go from there. Agree, should call back the builder to take care, but he obviously has already demonstrated his attitude to maintaing a clean workplace.

Had a builder splatter gloss paint over my floor tiles am a bit reluctant to go the full monty with paint stripper for fear of damage to said tiles....is there a safer means.

If you are travelling up the Mittraphap or highway to hell it is hardly an epic journey. Better you time your trip so that when you turn off for Khao Yai at Pak Chong you will have a wide range of eateries such as Chocolate Factory, KP Steak and Studer.....mind you all at Khao Yai prices

What bugs me is when they are too lazy to change the menu, but just put stickers over the old prices.

You get to keep your passport intact for purposes of ID and domestic travel in Thailand, but as you say invalid for international travel. It will then be clipped when you pick up your new passport. Not sure of current charges, but you will fill out a separate form with your credit card details, to allow them to deduct what they like.

Your old passport gets cancelled once your application is received, allowed to retain in Thailand for the purposes of ID, but invalid for international travel. -

Coming up to 65,000km, tread still looks OK, but is it time to renew due to general degradation, after five years.
