  1. Love having the small gecko around, but don't like the big ones that have a habit of climbing behind my fridge. And for the record, can't recall the last time was in mortal combat with a snake, normally I just see them off the premises..
  2. Think that might just have been meant as a joke
  3. Note you have a habit of replying multiple times to the same thread, take a break.
  4. He's long gone and wife out with liberal dose of Dettol.
  5. Just the one fella, but gives you and idea of its size.
  6. If I see a snake in the garden quite happy to let them go about their business, don't like it when they suddenly rear up from behind some boxes or such.
  7. Don't like those big monster Geckos. Next time will pause and check on google if a particular snake is about to kill me.
  8. Well, I think I just busted that myth
  9. Think you just answered your own question, "treat any snake as venomous" Wifey thought, or rather was screaming that it was a cobra. Besides ended up near my SUV and did not want it climbing in my engine bay.
  10. Had a 15 minute fight to the death with this fella this morning, not going well until I got my Gecko buster out, a long bamboo pole with a fork embedded in the end. Managed to pin him down, then moved in with the rat spray I use on my car engine. Still writhing around, so time to move in for the kill with the garden back hoe Think it was a Cobra, but not sure.
  11. No "allegedly" about it, he was clearly shown on TV last night giving it with the one finger, no doubt in oh so polite Switzerland he would have got 20 years jail time.
  12. Clue is in the word "Korat", which seemingly prints its own version of these forms.
  13. Korat, in a world of its own, has a couple of garbage forms of it's own making, nether of which are printable online. One refers to penalties and the other to source of funds, including your bank details.
  14. That's it, have had enough, am out of here ......the fact that I never use this expressway is beside the point.
  15. Well, if he does not have a re-entry permit, then it's party over for his extension.
  16. Perfectly normal, your entry stamp allowed you to stay up until the expiry of your previous extension, note dates match. Your new extension allows you to stay until its expiry in Feb 2025. Should you leave the country at any time your entry stamp on return will show permitted to stay until Feb 2025. Note: Whenever I return always double check after Immigration that the correct expiry stamp is there.
  17. This is all very confusing, I need to know, my passport is coming up for renewal in 2031.
  18. Do believe you have to do your first report in person, after which you will be able to make online reports again.
  19. You mention "bank letter obtained day before," always thought this was required same day as applying for extension.
  20. When you get new passport you have to go to immigration to transfer stamps from old passport, there is no great urgency over this so wait until your next 90-day report Is due and take care all at the same time.
  21. Went to korat immigration this week for renewal, everything OK until shock, horror, name in bank book does not match name in passport, because middle name in bank book missing, has always been accepted for previous extensions. Stand-off ensued with imminent refusal on the cards. IO eventually relented and said she would issue renewal. but I had to return next day with bank letter and statement in full name and with same date. Returned to my BKK branch where a brilliant young lady took matters in hand by adjusting my account name, issuing a new bank book and printing out new letter and statement. Returned to Korat and all sorted. Big box of chocs on the way to my BKK lady friend.
  22. For the purpose of merriment was implying that he was likely to make a remarkable recovery in the next 24 hours.
  23. Understand he has a game of tennis booked for tomorrow.
