Early reporting?? A question
dick turpin replied to Felton Jarvis's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
Always bugs me, invariably you report early to cover any issues and but then lose remaining time on your current report. However, when you turn up 30 days early to renew a retirement extension it gets forward dated to the exact renewal date as the previous year, so why not the same for 90 day reports.......answers on a postcard -

My friend Big Joke will not be pleased. -
As per my previous post doesn't matter who does the conversion, but you will get a much better exchange rate if you let the Thai bank do the conversion. Log onto the bangkok bank site and foreign exchange rates page for current TT transfers and compare with the rate you got, you can scroll back to the date you made your transfer.

Thanks guys.....most critical advice would seem to be to test out on small area first and go from there. Agree, should call back the builder to take care, but he obviously has already demonstrated his attitude to maintaing a clean workplace.

If you are travelling up the Mittraphap or highway to hell it is hardly an epic journey. Better you time your trip so that when you turn off for Khao Yai at Pak Chong you will have a wide range of eateries such as Chocolate Factory, KP Steak and Studer.....mind you all at Khao Yai prices

What bugs me is when they are too lazy to change the menu, but just put stickers over the old prices.

You get to keep your passport intact for purposes of ID and domestic travel in Thailand, but as you say invalid for international travel. It will then be clipped when you pick up your new passport. Not sure of current charges, but you will fill out a separate form with your credit card details, to allow them to deduct what they like.
