  1. https://www.makroclick.com/en/products/120960-aro-slices-sandwich-bread-600-g Definitely supposed to be actually sliced. Evidently a shortage of cuts.
  2. Designed to confuse farangs. The Thai just says "sandwich bread" nothing about slices.
  3. Farmer Jones got out of his car and while heading for his friend's door, noticed a pig with a wooden leg. His curiosity roused, he asked, "Fred, how'd that pig get him a wooden leg?" "Well, Michael, that's a mighty special pig! A while back a wild boar attacked me while I was walking in the woods. That pig there came a runnin', went after that boar and chased him away. Saved my life!" "And the boar tore up his leg?" "No he was fine after that. But a bit later we had that fire. Started in the shed up against the barn. Well, that ole pig started squealin' like he was stuck, woke us up, and 'fore we got out here, the darn thing had herded the other animals out of the barn and saved 'em all!" "So that's when he hurt his leg, huh, Fred?" "No, Michael. He was a might winded, though. When my tractor hit a rock and rolled down the hill into the pond I was knocked clean out. When I came to, that pig had dove into the pond and dragged me out 'fore I drownded. Sure did save my life." "And that was when he hurt his leg?" "Oh no, he was fine. Cleaned him up, too." "OK, Fred. So just tell me. How did he get the wooden leg?" "Well", the farmer tells him, "A pig like that, you don't want to eat all at once!"
  4. Wilco! Recipe here http://www.localfoodheroes.co.uk/?e=541 I left out the optional sodium ascorbate as I couldn't find it in small packs.
  5. One of my "lockdown food experiments" is home cured bacon. Only started today so have to wait a week before we know if it's actually worked.
  6. Amazingly the pig and chicken was well stocked.
  7. Not really a serious issue but:- Today makro didn't have our usual sliced "Farmhouse" brown bread (I know it's mass produced junk but we like it). So I bought this "slices sandwich bread", guess what, it's not actually sliced, just marked on the top. Luckily Madam has a suitable machete to cut it up. Or maybe I could hollow it out and serve soup in it ????
  8. And the important one N-E? Don't assume it's going to be the same as the G-E one (it should be of course but ...). Is N-E constant or does it vary with load or time of day? A MEN N at 14V isn't right, shame you can't check at the meter (is it sealed you you can't remove the terminal cover?). I might still be tempted to remove the MEN link, at least then you know all your grounds are actually at ground.
  9. Definitely a**e backwards then, go for it.
  10. Never seen that one, are you using a VPN that makes you appear to be in China/HK/Taiwan? If so try turning it off.
  11. Due to the photos not really showing the meter reading properly can you post your measurements please? If you are getting 220V between the incoming "neutral" and your known earth then things are reversed. Why not pay a local sparks to come and swap the wires either in your box or at the meter, has to be better the cutting the bus-bar etc?
  12. Excellent to have a first hand experience. I've not been to Bang Sue Grand recently so no idea how the vaxx operation is affecting the actual working part of the station.
  13. I only shop at makro once a month so this might be old news. I and many others rolled up at our local (Pathum Thani) makro at 6:15AM (for 6 AM opening) to find that they now open at 7AM. Of course this led to a local super-spreader event with everyone crowding to get in, the store was just under its 400 person limit when I got in. Also many things out of stock, I'll be heading to Lotus's after a cuppa to fill in the gaps. I'm not sure if this is nationwide or just local to us. EDIT From the makro website. 14. Badge (I have one) I think we've bypassed Transam's "spout". So "down".
  15. Shouldn't he have a ...... mask? Some poor sound guy is going to have to change that spit-ball The "Super Riders" will need super k9 control powers if they want to get past our gate.
  16. Squirrel sh.t!! A hazelnut in every bite.
  17. The names BTS/Skytrain and MRT are historical. No problem when there were just the two. Now ye olde worlde BTS is the Green Line (dark and light for Sukhumvit and Silom Lines although I can never work out which is which and I work for them). The MRT is the Blue Line Then we have the Purple Line the Gold Line and the Red Line To cause confusion we have the Airport Link which doesn't seem to have an official colour. Sometime next year we will have the Pink Line and the Yellow Line. I really don't know why they can't have numbers too, Seoul has lines referenced by number and colour.
  18. The Red Line is called, wait for it, the Red Line. It's actually operated by SRT. From Nana BTS=>MoChit, Walk downstairs to MRT. MRT Chatuchak Park => Bang Sue Walk to Bang Sue Grand (there's an underground passage but it's quite a long way). Upstairs into Bang Sue Grand station for the Red Line. Red Line Bang Sue Grand => DMK Note the Bang Sue Grand is currently a covid vaxx centre, navigating the station might be problematic. Due to the Red Line being under trial running I would't rely on it to get to DMK for a flight.
  19. Neither the MRT nor the BTS go to Don Mueang. The only trains that go there are the Red Line and the regular SRT. The BTS does run past DMK but it's on the wrong side for the airport.
  20. There's no direct connection. Red Line=>Bang Sue, Blue Line=>Chatuchak Park => connect to the BTS (Mo Chit). The Red Line is currently trial-running, it's free but the train times are not guaranteed.
  21. 13.984602710740411, 100.55296743925953 We moved in in 2004 and out in 2011 to our current (and final) home. It was already a fairly old building when we moved in. The units are pretty large and the price was right.
  22. What speed was the A/C doing when it suddenly shot out in front of her? But you still love her so it's all ok.
  23. Let's just say that the first two were paid for by my employer at the time Number three was on my own coin.
  24. RESULT!! Thanks for the update, it's always nice to get feedback for a problem solved ????
  25. @ellobo Have you done the "screwdriver in the lawn" check (measuring voltage, not resistance between the driver, L, N and E)? Have you verified that you actually have MEN implemented on your supply? Check the supply poles, the neutral (the top wire of the 4 LV wires) should be grounded at every third pole. If your supply is MEN and the neutral is getting to 15V above deck than there's a significant diverted current somewhere. Very worrying. If your supply is not MEN (or you are not sure) you should remove the N-E link and "TT" the whole house. As it is now with the shower on a separate rod there's no real hazard but I worry that you are managing to pull your earth up to 15V.
