  1. Probably not unless it's a dead short, you need an insulation tester, the Mk-1 eyeball is the best starting point.
  2. Here we go. Cheap DIN rail consumer unit from MegaHome, 30A AC MCB same place. DC MCBs, DC MOVs and AC MOVs from Lazada. Do NOT try to save a few $$$ by using normal MCBs on the DC, conflagration may result if one opens when the panels are active. This is for two strings (inverter has 2 MPPT inputs) so you could lose one DC MCB and a pair of DC MOVs.
  3. Didn't pay any. There's a thread somewhere on it. One of several companies doing it https://www.evereastlogistics.com/product_23128_SpeciallinetoSingaporeMalaysiaThailand.html Special line to Singapore/ Malaysia/Thailand Special line Special line express service to Vietnam/Singapore/Malaysia/Thailand from China -Good price -Door to door service, clearance at both ends, Duty free -Seasoned staffs with good service -High efficiency
  4. Yeah ^^^, I'd start by looking for the usual suspects, wildlife or water, in the fittings or any junction boxes. Just hope there's not a taped joint underground somewhere.
  5. When the rain stops I'll post a photo of ours ???? It could be a while.
  6. It was a while back but you are probably right, still saved the 7% VAT ????
  7. I have the .apk if anyone wants it please PM me.
  8. It's happened to me a few times (or it's just forgotten my bill details), just re-enter the original data you used and everything will should might come back. Note that my version doesn't do passport numbers only Thai ID numbers.
  9. I thought the idea was pretty much dead now with better / faster WiFi, it was never wonderful (totally useless here). I have one somewhere, wouldn't even work well down an extension lead ????
  10. Yes, I messaged them on their Line address they sent and a nice lady took about 60 seconds to verify it was me on video chat. Got the "KYC completed, do not used this chat for normal contact" message. Hopefully it will continue to work.
  11. Customs HS Code 8708.99.0000 "Parts And Accessories Of Motor Vehicles" will net you 30% duty plus 7% VAT on the CIF value ???? https://www.simplyduty.com/import-calculator/ You could ask the seller if they can do "Thailand Special Line" which is a China-Thailand bulk shipping system which somehow makes for zero payment at this end. I was offered it for a solar inverter, cost the same as FedEx but no duty or VAT to pay.
  12. Now, where did we store those tracking devices?
  13. It's all set up and waiting ???? There's only 80 Baht in the wallet so no great loss if they do shut me down, but it's a handy app for paying in the Seven.
  14. Thanks I'll try that, their email definitely says they will contact you, but they haven't yet.
  15. I've got the QR and added them as a friend, are you supposed to call them or do they call you? I've been waiting for an appointment time for 4 days (they say 3 business days) ????
  16. It didn't, seller didn't ship, Lazada cancelled and refunded. New one (slightly more expensive) on order and has shipped. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/i2018040947-s6508042103.html
  17. Just got Az dose 2 at Bang Sue Grand. I originally got a 16 week appointment from Siriraj, they were no help when checking if a new appointment at 12 weeks was available. Eventually my step-son sorted a new time and place using the Mor-Prompt App (I couldn't even log on) which is actually at 11.5 weeks, I'll take that. He also sorted one for a mate who I met at Siriraj, who interestingly got a text with a new date yesterday, he came to Bang Sue ???? Very well organised with lots of English speaking staff. No queue at 10.15 (early for 11.00 appointment), straight in, follow the big numbered signs. Even live music in the "wait to see if your arm falls off" area. Out by 11.05, hardest part was finding the way back to the MRT station ????
  18. Yeah, they fixed it for foreigners a couple of years back ???? Foreign users of TrueMoney Wallet are now being asked to provide further ID on top of the passport asked for when registering a WP or pink ID seem to be the options. I would not be surprised if Lazada Wallet ended up going the same way ???? Like the need for ID when getting a Rabbit or MRT card these requirements are from AMLO rather than the organisations themselves.
  19. Yes, I believe you are correct, the same as they use in their vehicles. Even with LiFePO4 I would keep the packs in a fireproof housing outside the house. They don't suffer from thermal runaway but an accidental short can still lead to conflagration.
  20. No politics in General, and it's not Thailand related anyway.
  21. Each of those MegaPack blocks holds up to 3MWh of energy, enough to keep many of us in power for 6 months! In the event of a failure it has to go somewhere!
