PEA requesting everybody to register
Crossy replied to manolothai's topic in Alternative/Renewable Energy Forum
... and include how it is actually wired up please 🙂 -
Combine ribald humour with peculiar sentence construction and a genuinely horrifying drinking culture, and what do you get? A dictionary’s worth of ‘drunkonyms’ Name: Drunkonyms. Age: As old as alcohol itself. Quantity: 546. I’m not entirely sure I know what a drunkonym is. Let me help you out. The Sámi people of northern Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia are said to have more than 300 words for snow. For example, “Åppås” means untouched winter snow, “Säásj” refers to old snow that has become loose and coarse and “Tsievve” is snow that has become so hard that not even reindeer can dig through it. This is fascinating, but what’s your point? My point is that, just as the Sámi have hundreds of words for snow, British people have hundreds of words for “drunk”. Five-hundred and forty-six, in fact. This sounds like an exaggeration. Fine, I’ll list them. Pissed. Sloshed. Stewed. Wrecked. Hammered. Bladdered. Plastered. Mullered. Pickled. Bevvied. Rubbered. Tanked. Cock-eyed. Zombied. Blootered. Trolleyed. Rat-arsed. … Read More https://www.theguardian.com/food/2024/feb/20/sloshed-plastered-and-gazeboed-why-britons-have-546-words-for-drunkenness Important Note: - The image is not me 7360.avif

PEA requesting everybody to register

I suspect that the halcyon days of unofficial net-metering (spinning a disc meter backwards when exporting energy) are coming to an end, it was good whilst it lasted. As to why PEA are asking now to "register" solar, they likely want to ensure that what's installed is at least reasonably safe for their linemen (i.e. proper grid-tie inverters with anti-islanding). @manolothai did they actually do any "inspecting", are you using inverters that are on the PEA approved list? 04 Inverter List Update 2024-05-08 (1).pdf -
Of course, if the switch is off and correctly wired then there shouldn't be a hazard. Ah ...

"Line-guard"? Possibly surge protection? Could you scan and post what documentation you have? EDIT Lord only knows: -

A few days ago, I got a great deal on some kit on Lazada. The base price of 40,500 THB was already pretty good, most other sellers were about 42,000. Lazada also had a 15% "6-6" voucher. So, I got 6,075 Baht off! Also, unusually, Lazada had two "6-6" 15% vouchers, so I bought another unit on a separate order using the second voucher. Total saving 12,150 THB. So, who actually picks up the tab for the discount, Lazada or the seller (or is it split in some way)? I note that the base price on that seller is now 41,800 THB and they are out of stock.

I think it's related to the beer goggles that were introduced when everyone became bored (post #6).

Matching collar and cuffs, a genuine blue-eyed, blonde, Essex-girl (yes, all the stories about Essex girls are true). Mum sadly passed away a few years back, but daughter is still around, I'm sure she would confirm to some random dude on the internet

Long, long ago (there were dinosaurs) I was chatting up a lovely young lady in the pub. She was fair of skin, blonde of hair, blue of eye and large of bazooka 😛 Problem was, she was with her mum! After a nice evening of beer and food (mum drank brandy-Babycham) I was asked if I could escort them home because "it was dark and they were scared"! By the time I'd had a cup of tea it was pissing down. You can stay here! OK so I ended up in bed with the blonde. Lovely it was too. I fell into a happy, drunken sleep. Some time later I awoke, rolled over and looked straight into mum's eyes. She had a happy, satisfied look about her! I will say at this point that mum was definitely not horrible!! So, I shagged her (again I assume). It turned out that I had indeed bounced the daughter who had then swapped with her recently divorced, lonely and frustrated mum. I ended up marrying the daughter. We were together 20 years, had 5 kids together, and yes, I bounced her mum on a fairly regular basis, at least once (ok more times than I'll admit to) in bed with both of them! Those were the days!

Orange plates make it an agricultural vehicle. Probably time to visit your local DLT to see what restrictions are in place regarding foreigners obtaining a licence to drive the beast. Or, as you say, just wing it. And where's the "jealous" emoticon? EDIT Response from a knowledgeable friend "I would say as long as he has cash on him then fine"

With the current weather, maybe this could see a revival.

Patience is rewarded, Lazada have two 15% "6-6" discount vouchers (having two is unusual). So, I bought two Deye 5kW inverters (two separate orders, 1 voucher used on each), one order got an extra 50Baht off for using my UOB card 🙂 12k will get quite a lot of beer
