If you can believe their figures, I'd like to know how its working..... what have they done to reduce road deaths

Tell that to 99.9% of the Thai's that are supposedly teaching english, qualified teacher or not, a foreigner has to be a better choice to teach english language

What happened to the road safety campaign?, as i mentioned before,they, being Thai use the road just like the rest of the nutters so road safety campaigns are a waste of money and time

Let's have some people who know what they're talking about on this Annual Road Safety campaign, the Ministry is made up of Thai's who drive just the same as the rest of them, so how is it going to be a safe campaign>?

I was recently in collision with a 16 year old on a 2 year old Honda Wave, the kid had no Driving Licence, no Road tax , no Compulsory Government Insurance, no Helmet, no money, and admitted doing 80 kph in a 45 kph area..when all the paperwork was done i asked the police, with "traffic police" printed on his shirt ( via my Thai wife) what will the police do about the kid, he replied ....."nothing, not imporant....." I often wonder what would happen if i took this case to Court, yeah Farang always wrong an all that, but Police do as they like, & often dont know the law themselves, but maybe the courts do uphold the law, or do they ?/

Ever heard of white coat Syndrome,? some peoples Blood Pressure rises just because they are attending a Hospital, my Heart Consultant takes no notice of the Blood Pressure readings taken by the Nurse, he laughs when i tell him it was very much higher 15 minutes ago, and now it has returned to normal, so no, you do not have to get them done prior to seeing a Doctor..better the money in your own pocket, not in the pocket of the Hospital
