I asked Nationwide UK if i could open an account in England from Thailand , they said no, i had to go in person, which i ended up doing, having opened the account, which needed a UK address i then asked what if i move to Thailand, they said its no problem to move to Thailand once u have opened the account, as u can use online banking which i do without a problem, they even said they will post my Debit card to Thailand when it expires, i have to wait to see that happen !!!

Lets see it again in a couple of months time....

The Thai government, Police, Immigration, etc... are well known among th Farang community for putting Thai citizens before any foreigner, so i find it hard to believe the welfare of any foreign tourist can expect to recieve any kind of protection or welfare, once again it looks good on paper, nothing more ...
